Brief Authority returns to action in a winnable race tonight at Grafton.
Brief Authority only made one appearance at the races during his debut preparation, finishing off well for fourth behind the impressive Vantorix.
Having trialled up well ahead of today’s return, I’m confident he can hit the ground running.

Rum And Kirk steps out today a fit horse and ready to win.
The Ole Kirk gelding has placed in two of three runs back from a break, hitting the line to finish runner up at Coffs Harbour last time out.
With even luck in the run today, this looks to be his chance to go one better.

I thought that this looked a nice race for Fierce Luva.
Fierce Luva is yet to do much since joining the Peter Robl yard last month, but there’s no doubt that his fitness and condition has improved for two starts.
This looks to be the weakest task he’s been set so far, and I think he’ll get his chance.

The scratching of leading contender Steffi Electrica has really brought Ever So Ready into contention today, in my opinion.
Ever So Ready returned to action with a decent effort to finish third, beaten a length and a half over 800m at Warwick.
With natural improvement and getting further out in trip today, he looks well placed.
