Richmond Race 2 – The Lids Fly Hosted Pots Maiden Final 320m
No. 3 Corless Furious

CORLESS FURIOUS (3) created an impression when debuting with a win last start over this course and distance.

The Tayt Corless-trained bitch showed excellent early speed to find the front before going on to win in 18.24 seconds.

She should land on the arm from box 3 and prove hard to catch in this Maiden Final.

Showed good early speed on debut. Won by 2.25 lengths at this track (18.24) beating Zipping Nickeil in a Maiden on August 5. Will find this much tougher but she’s got good box manners and speed. Returned in great order and can make it back to back wins.

Richmond Race 6 – Bernie Burrow @ Stud NG1-4 401m
No. 6 Maybe Next Week

MAYBE NEXT WEEK (6) is low flying at the moment and is searching for his fifth win in a row.

Following three consecutive wins over 320m here in best of the night times, the Melinda Finn-trained dog stepped up to this distance last start where he ran down Summer Dream to win a best of the night time of 22.73 seconds.

Box 6 is a touch sticky but he possesses a best of 22.42 seconds over this trip so with even luck early, he’ll be hard to beat.

Has been in tremendous form, putting four wins back-to-back. Had plenty of support last start when he won by 0.8 lengths at this track (22.73) beating Summer Dream in a Free For All on August 5. Has the ability to be in the finish.

Richmond Race 7 – T & C Plumbing Services 5th Grade 401m
No. 3 Hey Barbie Girl

HEY BARBIE GIRL (3) boasts the most wins of any of her rivals in this field with three.

The daughter of Bernardo fought gamely last start over 320m here when charging late to just miss the win, finishing second by a half-length in 18.29 seconds.

The rise in distance looks suitable and she enjoys box 3 having won two of three starts when wearing the white rug.

Richmond Race 10 – Poolwerx Richmond-Kurrajong 5th Grade 401m
No. 1 Urban Vivi

URBAN VIVI (1) returns to the races for the first time since falling here last month.

The Michael Hodges-trained bitch was flying prior to that fall with back-to-back wins over this course and distance in slick times of 22.58 and 22.56 seconds.

She loves box 1 having won three from four wearing the red rug and should find the arm.

Won two starts back when well in the market at this track over 401m. Last start failed to finish the race over 401m at this track on July 1. Has a very good strike-rate out of box 1, scoring three times. Go close.
