HAMPTON STYLE (2) is second up into a winnable race today at Moruya.

The Snitzel mare finished on the placegetters’ heels in each of two starts during her debut prep, while she was only denied by an impressive Daylite first up this time at Goulburn.

Stripping fitter today, she can begin her journey through the grades.

No. 8 Restless Spirit

RESTLESS SPIRIT (1) is third up into a winnable race today at Moruya.

The Portland Sky gelding was a smart winner in maiden company fresh from a break before finishing on the placegetters’ heels when stepping up in grade last time out.

Fitter third up today and with options from the rails draw, he can win again.

Second run from a spell 4th of 9 in a Cl1 at Goulburn on August 23 over 1400m, 3.5 len behind Skirmish with 55kg at $2.40. Maps well and can take this out.

SACRED MISTRESS (5) steps out today a fit horse and with winning claims once more.

The Luke Pepper-trained mare is yet to strike in three runs back from a break, but she’s undoubtedly improved with each start and was last seen running on to finish fourth in a similar race out at Wagga.

In peak order today and from the good draw, she can find a nice position in the run before calling on her turn of speed again.

COUGARS (5) is third up into a winnable race today at Moruya.

The Flying Artie gelding finished fourth, beaten a little over two lengths on the Acton track at Canberra when resuming before returning an improved performance to finish closer last time out.

Fitter third-up and in arguably a weaker race today, he looks to get plenty of ticks.
