We have Flight Stakes tips and predictions for the Group 1 1600m race at Randwick on Saturday.
Flight Stakes odds have the three runners at the top of the market favoured to win, and it could come down to those three over the final 100m.
Bangkok Hottie remains one of the horses we like to have something on.
The David Payne-trained filly heads into this race chasing a third straight victory after scoring in similar company at her past two starts. Her latest win over Striking Alibi was particularly encouraging, with Bangkok Hottie showing plenty of determination to get the job done. That form gives her a strong profile for the Flight Stakes.
She’s picking the jump much better than she used to. She has also benefited from improved barriers, so we expect her to settle on the speed and give punters a good sight in the straight.
The $3.30 odds are generous, and our Flight Stakes predictions have her making it three in a row.

It pays to follow a John Sargent-trained runner that has been well-backed to win, and Global Goal has put the writing on the wall recently.
She finished off stylishly to finish third last time out when running slick sectionals, and she appears to be the runner likely to finish off best down the outside. Our only worry is how many lengths she’ll need to make up.
However, Sargent is one of the best trainers of 3YO fillies in Australia, and he times them to perfection. Rising to the mile is another asset in her favour, so the $3.10 odds could firm into favouritism on race day.
We wouldn’t be surprised to see a lot of support on Saturday, and he’s the biggest threat to Bangkok Hottie.

A runner at double-figure odds that can’t be overlooked is Queen’s Gamble. She finished only sixth behind Bangkok Hottie last start, but she was always going to improve with that run under her belt.
She comes through a different path than most of these runners. Most of her winning form came at the midweeks, but she was impressive in winning those two races, and she has a big race win in her future.
This is arguably her best chance to win a Group 1 race, and despite the odds being in the high range, she is good enough to cause a bit of a boilover with Flight Stakes tips.

Punters get value odds with our Flight Stakes SRM, which includes our three selected runners.
We have Bangkok Hottie Top 2, Global Goal Top 2, and Queen’s Gamble Top 4, which pays $7.50 for our three-runner SRM.
The same-race multi hinges on Bangkok Hottie and Global Goal running the quinella, but they’re the best horses in the race. Queen’s Gamble could run into the money, so include this bet in racing picks.
