NBL Round 7 2026: Tips & Predictions

We have the latest NBL tips this week for all nine games of Round 7, starting with the Wildcats vs Kings on Wednesday.

Punters can get the latest NBL odds at Ladbrokes, which are available for every game of the season.

Perth Wildcats
vs
Sydney Kings
Wednesday 28th October 2026 9:30 PM AEDT
Kings @ $1.85

Our NBL predictions this week include the Kings to win on the road against the Wildcats, which would be the Wildcats’ first home loss.

However, the Kings are the only team to have beaten the Wildcats this season, and it came easily. It came in Sydney, but it’s only the Wildcats’ home record keeping them close to the Kings in betting markets.

We have the Kings being too good, and the $1.85 odds are generous.

Brisbane Bullets
vs
Cairns Taipans
Thursday 29th October 2026 8:00 PM AEDT
Taipans @ $1.95

Our NBL tips this week have the Taipans being too strong for the Bullets, in what should be a close contest.

We give the Taipans the edge because of their recent form, including four wins from their last five games. That form is tough to overlook, and they have a roster that can dominate the Bullets on Thursday.

There’s nothing between them in betting markets, so a close game is expected.

New Zealand Breakers
vs
Adelaide 36ers
Friday 30th October 2026 5:30 PM AEDT
Breakers @ $1.95

The Breakers are a completely different team when they’re healthy, and getting Parker Jackson-Cartwright back in the team is a huge bonus.

He’s one of the best NBL players, and his return from injury could see the Breakers start producing more consistent results.

Adelaide is a dangerous team, especially with Bryce Cotton on the floor, but they’re not overly consistent, and winning at Spark Arena has never been easy for them.

Tasmania JackJumpers
vs
Sydney Kings
TBA
JackJumpers to Win

We expect a close betting market when odds are released, but we’re taking the JackJumpers to get the job done at home.

They currently lead the NBL premiership after some stellar play, and they’re living up to pre-season expectations. The Kings will need to play well to beat them, and they could be tired after playing on Wednesday.

Include the JackJumpers in NBL Round 7 tips.

Cairns Taipans
vs
Melbourne United
Saturday 31st October 2026 7:35 PM AEDT
United @ $1.40

It’s a big week for Melbourne United, who need to get back to their winning ways to avoid coming under more pressure.

They suffered a narrow loss to the Wildcats last week, but they bounced back with a win, and that bodes well against the Taipans, which will be a tough game for the Queenslanders.

We see United playing better across the board, so include them in NBL predictions this week.

Perth Wildcats
vs
Illawarra Hawks
Saturday 31st October 2026 9:35 PM AEDT
Wildcats @ $1.25

We might have the Kings beating the Wildcats on Wednesday, but we can’t see them going 0-2 at home this week.

The Wildcats have had a blessed schedule so far, having played just one road game, so they need to put wins on the board before they embark on a road trip.

The Hawks are one of the worst teams in the NBL, and with only one win from their last five games, we can’t see them giving the Wildcats much of a fright.

South East Melbourne Phoenix
vs
Tasmania JackJumpers
TBA
JackJumpers to Win

The Phoenix aren’t an easy team to bet against at home, but we’re doubling down on the JackJumpers and backing them to win.

We enjoy backing the JackJumpers to win, and they haven’t done us wrong too many times this season. They are playing with more consistency than the Phoenix, which is why we’re backing them to win.

The odds should be generous, so they’re a good value bet with NBL tips this week.

Adelaide 36ers
vs
Brisbane Bullets
TBA
36ers to Win

Playing their second game of the week are the 36ers and Bullets, and it could be an important contest.

The 36ers come off a tough road trip to New Zealand, which isn’t easy to bounce back from, but they should have too much scoring power for the Bullets, who have struggled defensively at times this season.

The 36ers will be favourites, and they’re worth including in picks.

Melbourne United
vs
New Zealand Breakers
TBA
Breakers to Win

We’re picking the Breakers to go 2-0 this week, as they’re healthy, and they could go on a winning run.

United hasn’t played well for the most part, and they’re struggling to close out games, which has been their strength for many years.

The Breakers love playing United, so it should be a close game, and we’re picking the upset.
