Oli Cownie has Friday night’s nine-race Albion Park card covered, with his selections and suggested bets for The Creek.
AMYLEE (7) is a clear standout on class in this race and has shown she is capable of doing work in strong company and still being in the finish late. She returned from a spell last time out, getting back and running on late in a race taken out by Race For Riches.
FRANCO MACHO (2) has excellent gate speed and may look to press forward and find the lead in the early stages from a good draw. He looked to be travelling well in behind them but just had nowhere to go at a crucial stage last time out.
TRALEE SNICKAS (1) has good gate speed and should be able to hold a prominent position in the early stages of this race. He sat close to the speed last time out and finished fourth behind Tilly Jayne.
READY TO DREAM (8) was a good winner last time out at this track over the 2138m. He draws well to get a soft run on the pegs in this race and should be running on late if the gaps appear.
SELECTIONS: AMYLEE (7), FRANCO MACHO (2), TRALEE SNICKAS (1), READY TO DREAM (8)
SUGGESTED BET: AMYLEE (7) to win.

KIKI MEISTER (9) led last time out and was able to control things before dashing home late to score. He looks likely to be suited by getting a good run off the speed this time and can look to run over the top late.
SWEET ROCKY (7) should be able to press forward and find a prominent position in this race despite the wide draw. He was forced to do the work outside the leader last time out and proved too good.
NEXT TO ME (2) has good gate speed and may look to press forward early to find the lead. He was a good winner four starts ago, running over the top of Racana to score over the 2138m.
BACK TO BETOOTA (6) ran very well third-up last time out, running on late into fourth behind Loch Lamond. He may be shuffled back again and should be running on late.
SELECTIONS: KIKI MEISTER (9), SWEET ROCKY (7), NEXT TO ME (2), BACK TO BETOOTA (6)
SUGGESTED BET: BACK TO BETOOTA (6) each way.

TORO LOCO (12) has been closing in on another win and put in another good run last time out, sitting without cover and finishing second to Ready To Dream. He can be driven to the speed of the race.
STUDLEIGH ANNE (1) has good gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead. She has been well below her best in recent outings but was able to win nicely four starts ago and reunites with Pete McMullen.
TAYLORS FOUR (8) should get a good run through in the early stages of this race. He secured a good run four starts ago at Marburg and was able to run over the top late.
ULTIMATE ARK (9) was shuffled back on the pegs last time out before flashing late to score. He should get a good run off the speed in this race and can be running on late.
SELECTIONS: TORO LOCO (12), STUDLEIGH ANNE (1), TAYLORS FOUR (8), ULTIMATE ARK (9)
SUGGESTED BET: TORO LOCO (12) to win.
12. Toro Loco (5) 22322
JIMMY BLING (2) has good gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead. He led last time out and was well beaten by Ashlee Nitro, but did appear to get a touch keen and may be better suited over the 1660m at this track.
ROCKY LEIGH (7) was crossed in the early stages last time out and just couldn’t quite go with Ultimate Ark late, who was able to sprint nicely to score. He looks likely to be forced to do some work in this race but should run well.
KINGSBURY (5) was running on nicely last time out into second behind Harry Kane, who has since won again. He looks likely to get back again and should be running on late.
GALVARINO (1) has good gate speed and should be able to press forward and hand over to JIMMY BLING (2). He led and won three starts ago at Marburg.
SELECTIONS: JIMMY BLING (2), ROCKY LEIGH (7), KINGSBURY (5), GALVARINO (1)
SUGGESTED BET: JIMMY BLING (2) to win.
2. Jimmy Bling (2) 64433
ROSIE POLLEN (10) should get a good run off the speed in the early stages of this race from a soft trailing draw. She sat close to the speed last time out and just couldn’t quite hold off stablemate Saint Louis Beat at Redcliffe, in a race where they put a big gap on third.
THE REAL ROCKETMAN (6) has excellent gate speed and may look to press forward early and find a prominent position. He was able to burn to the lead last time out but just couldn’t quite hold off Milliondollar Kiss.
SPECIALANDIKNOWIT (1) hasn’t had a lot of luck in recent outings. He seems to do his best work on the pegs and could be an improver in this race given the ideal draw.
DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (8) ran a good second four starts ago behind Sporty Azz. She looks likely to get a good run through early in this race and can be running on late.
SELECTIONS: ROSIE POLLEN (10), THE REAL ROCKETMAN (6), SPECIALANDIKNOWIT (1), DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: ROSIE POLLEN (10) to win.
10. Rosie Pollen (3) 22472
FIT AND READY (4) sat without cover last time out and was very good, running into second behind Exit Eleven, who was able to secure the perfect run leaders back. She should be able to press forward and find a prominent position again and can prove hard to beat from there.
OH HERESHE COMES (5) secured a good run in the small field last time out and wasn’t beaten far behind Blackjack Sam, finishing third. She looks set to get back early and can be running on late in this race.
CLAUDES DESIRE (8) was able to lead recently at this track before being run down late by Skip To Me Lou. That was his first outing for the stable of Graham Dwyer, and he is likely to have derived benefit from the outing. He should be running on late.
ROCKY WINE (7) draws poorly outside the front row in this race but has been racing in good form. She got back last time out and was running on well late into sixth in a race taken out by Camerina.
SELECTIONS: FIT AND READY (4), OH HERESHE COMES (5), CLAUDES DESIRE (8), ROCKY WINE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: FIT AND READY (4) to win.

LIZZIES SON (3) has always been a trotter with good ability but has had a tendency to do things wrong in races. He finally put it all together last time out and was an impressive winner at Marburg, leading all the way and beating Lochinvar Son. He can look to do the same again in this race.
VICTREE VIC (1) has done things wrong so far in this campaign, making a break at both starts. If he can bring his best manners and hold the lead early this time, he can give them something to run down.
LOCHINVAR SON (2) secured a good run leaders back recently at Marburg and ran well to finish second to LIZZIES SON (3). He looks well handicapped in this race and usually gets away safely from the stand starts, which should see him get every chance again.
BLACK VIPER (8) looks likely to secure a good run off the speed in this race and will just be hoping for a genuine tempo to bring him into the race. He was running on nicely late last time out into fourth, despite doing things wrong.
SELECTIONS: LIZZIES SON (3), VICTREE VIC (1), LOCHINVAR SON (2), BLACK VIPER (8)
SUGGESTED BET: LIZZIES SON (3) to win.

MEDELLIN (4) was forced to race without cover last time out at Albion Park and, despite doing a few things wrong, was able to run a good third behind Better One and Blackjack Sam. He may be forced to do some work again in this race but looks hard to beat.
SCAR STRUCK (5) trialled up smartly recently at this track, dashing up a slick last quarter and winning by a big margin. He showed promise last time in, including a sixth in the Qbred Breeders Final for the 2YO Colts and Geldings.
CHARMED CONQUEST (2) draws favourably in this race and should settle close to the speed. He got back in the run last time out and couldn’t get into it late in a race taken out by Blackjack Sam, which became a dash home.
LOTS OF HEART (6) drew poorly last time out and was forced to the rear of the field before running on nicely enough late, considering the quick last quarter. He may be forced to work or could be shuffled back again in this race from a wide draw.
SELECTIONS: MEDELLIN (4), SCAR STRUCK (5), CHARMED CONQUEST (2), LOTS OF HEART (6)
SUGGESTED BET: MEDELLIN (4) to win.

SUNDAY SWEET TALK (4) started her career nicely last time out, sprinting up sharply to score. That backed up a very impressive trial in which she beat pacer Rostova. She should run well again.
IM FRANKEE (6) was able to make up the front off a 40-metre handicap last time out before just being out-sprinted late by the impressive debutant SUNDAY SWEET TALK (4). She comes into this race 10m better off compared with her main rival but will find it tough to make up a 30m handicap.
STREAK APPEAL (3) was well fancied on debut last time out at Marburg before doing a few things wrong in a race taken out by POZZI TONOZZI (5). If she can bring better manners this time, she can run a better race.
POZZI TONOZZI (5) was able to run on late into a well-beaten third behind SUNDAY SWEET TALK (4). She would likely need her key rivals to do things wrong in this race to become a winning chance.
SELECTIONS: SUNDAY SWEET TALK (4), IM FRANKEE (6), STREAK APPEAL (3), POZZI TONOZZI (5)
SUGGESTED BET: SUNDAY SWEET TALK (4) to win.
