The Hall Mark Stakes is a Group 3 sprint race run and won over 1200m at Royal Randwick on All Aged Stakes Day in late April each Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival.

The set weights plus penalties showdown is open to horses aged three-years-old and above and offers $250,000 in prize money as of 2024.
It is one key support acts on the end-of-autumn meeting that is headlined by the Group 1 All Aged Stakes (1400m) and Group 1 Champagne Stakes (1600m).
First held in 1978, the event is named in honour of great Sydney galloper Hall Mark who won races including the Doncaster Handicap, Australian Derby, Champagne Stakes, and Sires’ Produce between 1933 and 1936.
Run over a mile (1600m) for the opening edition, the race went up to 2000m from 1979 until coming back to its current distance of six furlongs (1200m) in 1980.
Having held Group 3 status since 2014, the Hall Mark Stakes has been won by a number of quality horses over the years including dual The Everest hero Redzel (2017) ahead of his first victory in the inaugural running of the world’s richest turf race that spring.
In 2026 Mazu made history securing his third straight Hall Mark Stakes victory.
