Daily Racing Tips – Friday 22nd September

Geelong - Race 3 2:10pm AEST

No. 8 Lilas

Lilas made her racing debut at Ladbrokes Park in April and she was only narrowly denied the race win. This race is no tougher and if she is able to bring that sort of form to the races she will be very tough to beat. Her recent trial at Traralgon suggests that she will be able to do just that.

Geelong - Race 4 2.45pm AEST

No. 7 Shewearsthepants

Shewearsthepants showed an impressive turn-of-foot to win at Benalla last start and she is a mare that still looks to have a fair amount of improvement in front of her. The step-up in trip to 1900 metres will suit and the wide barrier draw is an advantage as it should ensure that she is able to wind up a long way from home.

Geelong - Race 6 3.55pm AEST

No. 1 Rampage

Rampage did not handle the heavy track when he failed to fire at Cranbourne last start and he is a much better horse than that performance suggests. He was only narrowly denied first-up over this track and distance and if he is able to return to that sort of form he does look to have an edge over the rest of this field.

Geelong - Race 7 4.30pm AEST

No. 11 Foxling

Foxling has genuine excuses last start when she was beaten at Benalla as favourite last start and she is well-placed to bounce back to winning form this afternoon. She does have a couple of high-rating performances on her racing resume and she has the speed to press across from her wide barrier draw to take up a forward position.
