Daily Racing Tips – Tuesday 20th February

Wyong - Race 5 3.40pm AEDT

No. 5 Guipure

Guipure showed promise without winning during her maiden racing campaign and she has trialed nicely ahead of her return to the races. She will take plenty of improvement out of this race, but she does map to get a soft run in transit and she has the turn-of-foot to finish over the top of her rivals late.

Wyong - Race 8 5:30pm AEDT

No. 4 Follow On

Follow On did plenty of work in the early stages of his last start at Canterbury and he was in the race for a long way. He was able to win the last time that he was seen at Wyong and he is the only horse in this field with any real upside. Tim Clark will take him straight to the front and he will prove tough to run down late.

Sale - Race 7 4.30pm AEDT

No. 2 Moscow Red

Moscow Red returned to winning form with a professional performance at Geelong on January 28 and there is no reason that she can’t make it two wins on the trot. She can push forward in a race that doesn’t have a great deal of early speed and she should prove too strong for the rest of this field.

No. 11 Coral Rose

Coral Rose has recorded two wins in impressive fashion this preparation and she is clearly a mare that is in form. Beau Mertens will take her straight to the front in the early stages of this race and if she can replicate her recent form she will be very tough to beat. She is well and truly over the odds at the $6 mark.
