Jockey Blake Shinn timed his run to perfection aboard the untapped Rosehill Caulfield specialist Coeur Volante ($5.50) who hit the front with 200m to travel and went on to dominate the 2025 Mannerism Stakes results with a four-length romp home for trainers Michael Moroney & Glen Thompson.

Blue Diamond Stakes Day features a trio of Group 1 races headlined by the Blue Diamond Stakes for two-year-olds.
A key support act on the card, the Mannerism Stakes was first run in 1988 and has held Group 3 status since 1993.
It is named in honour of the 1991 Australasian Oaks winner and 1992 Caulfield Cup champion mare Mannerism.
Some of the better mares out of the event may head up to Sydney for a shot at the Group 1 Coolmore Classic (1500m) run at Rosehill two weeks later.
Espiona (2023) was the last mare to complete the Mannerism Stakes – Coolmore Classic double.

She was good in quality company last time in and has a strong record here at the Caulfield track (5:1-2-0). Group 3 placed on a Heavy (8) at the course to see out her spring, So Glamorous resumed Group 3 Geoffrey Bellmaine which was moved to Sandown Lakeside. She ran well for fourth behind She’s Bulletproof in a race that looks like will prove to be a strong form line event for the mares’ this autumn. Takes benefit from that resuming performance and will relish getting back to Caulfield. Barrier 7 for Ethan Brown. Can win.
