We’ve had plenty of punters win big with multi bets in recent weeks, but one punter has walked away with an incredible $30,126.35 after landing a great nine-leg multi over the weekend.
Our punter is clearly a big fan of all things Australian sport and racing; pulling off the massive win over AFL, rugby league and racing; beginning in the best way possible with Brisbane’s big win over the struggling Dragons in the NRL on Friday night.
Leg 1: Broncos Beat the Dragons at $1.25
Saturday was a particularly big day for our punter, who took advantage of good odds on a number of horses to place in their respective races at Rosehill.
The Gai Waterhouse-trained Countryman has returned to racing in great touch this season, but our punter identified he faced his biggest test to date in the second in Sydney and took the horse to finish in the first three – an absolute master stroke when the five-year-old was unable to match the late pace of Centre Pivot and finished second.
Leg 2: Countryman runs a place in the third at Rosehill at $1.10
In what undoubtedly added the best value for money of all three of his racing legs, our punter elected to add Haptic to run a place in the Group 3 San Domenico Stakes over 1100m, and the classy Godolphin runner did not disappoint when mustering a strong sprint late to finish third.
Leg 3: Haptic runs a place in the San Domenico Stakes at $2.50
Leading Sydney trainer Chris Waller had plenty of winning prospects at Rosehill on Saturday but probably none better than Start Wondering in Race 7, who rounded out our punter’s racing legs with a comfortable half-length win.
Leg 4: Start Wondering wins Race 7 at place odds of $1.80
Saturday’s AFL fixtures also proved a great option for our punter, who included a few clear favourites in North Melbourne, Port Adelaide and Richmond to win their respective matches over St Kilda, GWS and the Gold Coast.
Leg 5: North Melbourne beats St Kilda at $1.17
Leg 6: Port Adelaide too good for GWS at $1.30
Leg 7: Richmond see off the Sun at $1.17
The Western Bulldogs have quietly snuck up the AFL ladder through recent weeks but still offer great value for money in head-to-head markets. Our punter capped their footy selections with the Bulldogs to knock off the inconsistent Demons at Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon, who ended up posting an incredible 98 point win.
Leg 8: Western Bulldogs beat the Demons at $1.20
Our punter would have been absolutely full of confidence leading into the final fold of his multi, having backed the resurgent Bulldogs to beat the lowly Titans in Sunday’s afternoon NRL game. While anything but polished, the Dogs were never really in doubt and officially handed our punter undoubtedly the weekend’s biggest win-fall.
Leg 9: Bulldogs beat the Titans at $1.14
Having placed a wager of $2000, our punter has managed to walk away with an incredible $30,126.35 – an absolutely terrific result!
