Caulfield Guineas Day may have boasted four impressive Group 1 feature races last weekend, but the Spring Carnival undoubtedly kicks up another gear with the running of the 2015 Caulfield Cup on Saturday.
A talented and capacity field of local and international stayers has been confirmed for the Caulfield Cup including several leading contenders for the Melbourne Cup.
This week, Roger caught up Hong Kong-based jockey Zac Purton who has the gun ride on Japanese raider Fame Game as well as veteran hoop Damien Oliver, who will partner leading contender Snow Sky in the Caulfield Cup. Ciaron Maher will saddle Set Square in the feature race and is confident in the mare’s chances of success.
