Week 13 of the English Premier League gets underway on Saturday when Watford hosts Manchester United at Vicarage Road.
In a week that will see several key fixtures contested including a London derby between Tottenham and West Ham, the round is undoubtedly highlighted by a match between Manchester City and Liverpool early Sunday morning Australian time.
We’re offering the best odds on all ten Premier League matches in Week 13!
Watford vs Manchester United
Watford found a good run of form leading into the international break; delivering Stoke and the in-form West Ham defeated before an unlucky late 2-1 loss to the third-placed Leicester City. The Hornets have no looked like a team amidst their first season back in England’s top flight and sit a pleasing eleventh overall, a win away from climbing as high as eighth. Manchester United have continued to re-install themselves as major Premier League heavyweights this campaign, and while stumbling a couple of times through recent weeks, carry winning form into Week 13. Watford are sure to play gallantly at home but Manchester United will probably be too strong.
Troy Deeney scores and Watford wins: $11
Wayne Rooney scores and Manchester United wins: $4
West Bromwich Albion vs Arsenal
West Brom have done enough to currently sit 13th overall; posting a number of competitive results between weeks they have gone missing, but are comfortably clear of the drop zone. Arsenal have returned to competition in particularly slick form; posting eight wins on their way to being tied atop the Premier League ladder with Manchester City; second only on goal difference. Similarly to Watford in the week’s first match, the Baggies are sure to grow an extra leg in front of their home fans but probably face too great a task in the Gunners this weekend.
Saido Berahino scores and West Brom wins: $15
Alexis Sanchez scores and Arsenal wins: $3.25
Chelsea vs Norwich City
Undoubtedly the league’s big disappointment through the first 12 weeks of competition, reigning champions Chelsea have been unable to make anything of their title defence so far; securing only three wins and sitting sixteenth overall. What has made Chelsea’s campaign so shocking however is their inability to defeat teams at Stamford Bridge; one of the league’s former cauldrons. Norwich City currently sit only one point above Chelsea and on their roster alone, the Londoners should win. The Canaries have nothing to lose, will head into this match with that mentality and are more than capable of success at great odds.
Diego Costa scores and Chelsea wins: $3
Cameron Jerome scores and Norwich wins: $21
Newcastle United vs Leicester City
In what has every chance of figuring as the most one-sided match in Week 13 of the Premier League, the lowly, out-of-form Newcastle host a rampant Leicester City in the north of England early Sunday morning Australian time. The Magpies have been nothing short of terrible this year in winning only two matches; sitting seventeenth overall on only ten competition points. Leicester City adversely are amidst undoubtedly their best season in the top flight to date; third overall only a point behind Manchester City and Arsenal a third of the way through the season. The Foxes are going from strength to strength and don’t appear as though they were slow down any time soon. Leicester offers exceptional value for money in win-draw-win markets this weekend and should figure in any premier league multi bet.
Ayoze scores and Newcastle wins: $6
Jamie Vardy scores and Leicester wins: $5
Everton vs Aston Villa
Everton has been unable to produce much of a consistent run of form this season but remain ninth overall and capable of battling for a Europa League position in the dying stages of the season. Romelu Lukaku has been playing well for club and country (Belgium) and continues to lead the Toffees’ assault with class. Aston Villa sacked manager Tim Sherwood following another disappointing start to the season and the team responded with a surprising draw with league-leaders City. In seasons gone by this match would have figured as one of the best of the round but in current form, anything could happen. Everton at Goodison Park are probably a touch classier than their Week 13 opponents.
Romelu Lukaku scores and Everton wins: $3
Scott Sinclair scores and Aston Villa wins: $17
Swansea City vs Bournemouth
Swansea City have stamped themselves as Premier League mainstays through recent seasons but probably wouldn’t be happy with their position, 14th overall, a third of the way through the 2015/16 season. The Swans have not been terrible, they are just yet to find strong and consistent form but are offered a good chance to return to winning ways at home to Bournemouth this weekend. The Cherries began their first season in the Premier League well but have noticeably dropped off of late and are now stuck in the relegation zone. Swansea remain odds on favourites but still represent excellent value at a quote of $1.85.
Bafetimbi Gomis scores and Swansea wins: $4
Matt Ritchie scores and Bournemouth wins: $13
Southampton vs Stoke City
While yet to reach the form they registered in a standout 2014/15 season, Southampton have continued to impress in the Premier League this campaign and sit seventh overall on 20 competition points. Stoke are another team who have definitely been playing below their potential but have steadily continued to build to the task and a boom in form appears imminent. The Saints deserve to start this match favourites but Stoke are not without a chance, particularly in boasting players like Xherdan Shaqiri. A draw at current $3.80 odds is definitely worth consideration.
Graziano Pelle scores and Southampton wins: $3
Xherdan Shaqiri scores and Stoke wins: $23
Manchester City vs Liverpool
In what is undoubtedly the headline fixture in week 13 of the Premier League, the impressive Manchester City return to Eastlands to face Liverpool on Sunday morning Australian time. With the exception on a minor hiccup here and there, the Sky Blues have registered exceptional form this season, scoring goals from all areas of the pitch and delivering a number of notable sides crushing defeats on their way to first position on the table. Liverpool are currently amidst a rebuilding phase headlined by the appointment of Manager Jurgen Klopp a few weeks ago, and signs are promising at Anfield. Liverpool always test the big teams regardless of form, but Manchester City realistically should be too good.
Wilfred Bony scores and Manchester City wins: $4
Christian Benteke scores and Liverpool wins: $10
Tottenham Hotspur vs West Ham United
Monday morning will see a London derby take place between the ever-dangerous Tottenham and the in-form West Ham at White Hart Lane. Having delivered some of the league’s best including Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal defeat this season, the Hammers are interestingly winless since week 10 but will have taken plenty of benefit from the week off. Spurs drew with fierce rivals Arsenal away from home last start and are tuned for another big performance this weekend.
Christian Eriksen scores and Tottenham wins: $4
Diafra Sakho scores and West Ham wins: $13
