Anybody that has ever bet on a baseball game knows just how difficult it can be to find a winner, so this effort from our Legendary Land winner is particularly impressive.
This punter had a very happy Sunday and Monday with a stunning 13-leg MLB multi that allowed him to turn $1 into $9856.12!
He had particular faith in the Pittsburgh Pirates and he backed the outfit in both games of their double header with the Cincinnati Reds.
They were always in control in the opening game at a quote of $1.83 and they got the job done again in the second game at the juicy price of $2.05.
Our punter had his first close call when he took the short odds of $1.38 for the Boston Red Sox to get the job done against arch-rivals the New York Yankees.
At one stage the Yankees held a 5-2 lead over their rivals, but two runs in the seventh innings were enough to secure the Red Sox the victory.
This was far from the only close call that our punter had on Sunday.
The Cleveland Indians ($1.71) needed an extra inning before they were eventually able to beat the Detroit Tigers 1-0 and the New York Mets ($1.67) also required an extra inning to see off the Minnesota Twins, while the St Louis Cardinals ($2.15) scored two runs in the ninth to steal victory against the San Francisco Giants.
Arguably the most impressive part about this multi was that there were so many outsiders selected and on Sunday our astute punter correctly predicted a number of boilovers.
The Milwaukee Brewers ($3.25) and Oakland Athletics ($3) were both big odds to beat the Chicago Cubs and Texas Rangers respectively, while the Tampa Bay Rays ($2.35) and Los Angeles Angels ($2.20) also won as underdogs.
Our punter went into Monday requiring just one victory to complete this incredible multi.
The Miami Marlins were flogged by the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday, but they went into Monday’s clash as narrow favourites with Andrew Cashner on the mound.
The Phillies got off to an excellent start and had a three run lead after three innings before the Marlins got themselves back into the hunt with two runs in the fifth.
Philadelphia extended their lead in the sixth, but another pair of runs in the eighth delivered the Marlins the victory and our punter $9856.12 from a $1 bet!
