Check out our Daily Racing Tips for Tuesday October 20th below, including Kyneton best bets.
SONDERA (3) is second up and open to plenty of improvement into the first at Kyneton today.
Sondera finished midfield on debut at Hawkesbury earlier in the year and was immediately put away, while her first run back this time indicated improvement, and saw her finish on the placegetters’ heels at Bendigo.
Stripping fitter, she should get her chance today.
| 7. Sondera (3) 56kg6×4 | |||
| Third race start. First start eased back early on 6th of 10 in a 2yo Mdn-Sw at Hawkesbury on May 14 over 1100m, slow going 3.5 len behind Dashing Splendour carrying 55kg at $7. Went for a spell before returning 4th of 12 in a 3yo Mdn-Sw at Bendigo on October 4 over 1300m, slow going 2.25 len behind Divine Eruption with 56kg at $51. Fitter for that run and expected to be in the finish this time. | |||
MANCHEGO (4) takes winning form into another nice race at Kyneton today.
The Team McEvoy-trained gelding filled the minors in BM56 company on the Ballarat synthetic and relished getting back onto the turf when he kicked away to win comfortably at Echuca last time out.
Fitter third-up today, something like this looks the next logical target.
OUR PIERRO (9) returns to action in a winnable race at Kyneton.
We haven’t seen Our Pierro at the races since January, but she was excellent during her debut prep, finishing the runner up and her first two starts and going for a break after a nice win in maiden company here at Kyneton.
With the benefit of a few trials under her belt, she can pick up where she left off this afternoon.
The consistent MR MARGOLIN (3) rates as a winning chance again in an open race to close today’s Kyneton program.
Mr Margolin hasn’t missed placing in three starts since resuming, winning over a mile at Sale to break his maiden before filling the minors getting up in grade for the first time, most recently.
By Polanski, he should relish the extra furlong this afternoon and is stepping out a fit horse.
