There is no doubt that Alexander Zverev is one of the most exciting young players in all of tennis, but he does look a touch under the odds here against veteran Frenchmen Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. Tsonga still has a superior hold-break percentage on hardcourts to that of Zverev and there is a genuine edge at his current quote.
Illawarra started the NBL season with a huge victory over the Adelaide 36ers and they are well-placed to win again tonight. The Hawks have won 11 of their past 13 games as home favourites, while they are 10-3 against the line in this scenario. Sydney have won just one of their past 14 games as away underdogs and have made a slow start to the season.
Taranaki have been in excellent form during the Mitre 10 Cup to date and they looked well-placed to head into the finals with a victory over Auckland. Auckland have been woefully inconsistent throughout the competition and if Taranaki perform at anywhere near their best they should have no problems comfortably accounting for their rivals.
The Denver Broncos lost last weekend, but there is no reason that they can’t return to winning form against the San Diego Chargers. Denver are 5-4-1 against the line as away favourites, while San Diego have won just three of their past 10 games as away underdogs. The Broncos have too much class for this Chargers outfit.
