Carolina’s season has gone to absolute pieces and they have been particularly poor in recent weeks. The Washington Redskins have played some strong football this season and their record as home favourites over the past 12 months is excellent. This has got blow-out written all over it for the Redskins.
I don’t think that the Sydney Thunder will defend their Big Bash title, but they should still be able to get their campaign off to a winning start. The Sixers will be missing a number of their key players to international duty and they really don’t have the depth on their roster to cover for this. Thunder to win in a canter.
There is no doubt that Brendan Dolan has gone backwards in the past two years, but he has been treated harshly by the market and I still have him as a clear favourite for this clash. His checkout percentage is still superior to that of Kist and the Northern Irishmen has plenty of experience in front of big crowds.
