Australia completed their Test Series clean sweep of Pakistan with an empathic victory in Sydney and the ODI Series between the two sides gets underway at The Gabba on Friday.
The form of the Australian ODI side has been somewhat of a mixed big over the past 12 months, but they will have taken plenty of confidence from their series win over New Zealand and they will start this clash as clear favourites.
Can Australia continue their winning ways or will Pakistan be able to score their first victory of the summer? I have analysed both sides and you can find a number of recommended betting plays below.
Head To Head Betting
Australia bounced back from their series defeat at the hands of South Africa to comfortably win the Chapple-Hadlee Series with New Zealand and they are dominant favourites to maintain that winning streak.
The Aussies have a simply outstanding record against Pakistan in ODI Cricket and they have won the past five games played between the two sides.
Australia have been particularly dominant on home soil – Pakistan have not won in Australia since 2005 and have lost eight of the past nine games against Australia in Australia.
Pakistan did beat the West Indies in an ODI Series last year, but they were comfortably beaten by England before that.
Based on their form during the Test Series it is tough to see Pakistan being able to turn this around and Australia are a very safe bet to get their series off to a winning start.

Man Of The Match
David Warner ($7) is currently on top of the Man Of The Match betting market from Mitchell Starc ($8), Steve Smith ($10), Usman Khawaja ($10) and Chris Lynn ($11).
Chris Lynn has been the form player during the Big Bash to date and there is no reason that he won’t be able to transfer that form to the international arena.
He loves making runs at The Gabba and Pakistan really don’t have any bowlers that are capable of troubling the Brisbane Heat star.
James Faulkner can contribute with both the bat and the ball, which always makes him a good bet in these sort of betting markets.
He is over the odds at his current quote of $17.

Top Australia 1st Innings Runscorer
David Warner ($3.50) is a narrow favourite in our 1st Innings Runscorer betting market from Usman Khawaja ($4), Chris Lynn ($5), Steve Smith ($5) and Glenn Maxwell ($9).
It is all about Lynn once again in this betting market, but the $9 for Glenn Maxwell could prove to be a touch of value if Australia lose a few early wickets.

Top Pakistan 1st Innings Runscorer
Azhar Ali ($4.50) is currently on top of Pakistan 1st Innings Runscorer betting from Mohammad Hafeez ($5) and the rest of the Pakistani batting line-up are priced at $6.
Babar Azam failed to really fire during the Test, but he is a much better player in the white ball format of the game and he plundered three centuries during their series victory over the West Indies.
This is obviously a tougher challenge, but he is as good a bet as any.
