The British & Irish Lions were far from impressive in their opening tour game against the New Zealand Provincial Barbarians and they will need to improve on that effort significantly to have any chance against the Blues. The Lions could take an understrength side in this clash and the $3 for a Blues win is excellent value.
The South African opening partnership of Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock is one of the strongest in world cricket and they both looked excellent against Sri Lanka in their Champions Trophy opener. Pakistan don’t have the bowling attack to trouble the South African openers and they should cruise to over 35 runs without loss.
Stan Wawrinka always saves his best tennis for Grand Slams, but there is still not as much between these two players as the current betting market suggests. Cilic has a hold/break percentage on clay this season that is clearly superior to that of Wawrinka. Wawrinka has a dominant head-to-head record, but they have played on clay just once since 2014.
