Fasika Firming Ahead of The Voice Finale

  • Judah Kelly odds-on favourite to win The Voice 2017 ahead of Sunday night’s finale
  • Fasika Ayellew the market mover following Semi-finals

The Voice Australia will officially draw to a close on Sunday night and Queenslander Judah Kelly remains odds-favourite to win the popular reality series at Ladbrokes.

Judah ($1.80 in the Ladbrokes Outright Winer market) has held his position atop The Voice betting markets since the competition entered Battle Rounds four weeks ago and he is set to deliver coach Delta Goodrem her second-consecutive win in the contest, following Alfie Arcuri’s triumph in 2016.

The biggest moves in The Voice betting markets throughout the last fortnight have been made by nineteen-year-old Fasika Ayellew, who is now perched on the second line of betting at $2.80 odds.

Fasika was saved by Kelly Rowland in the Battle Rounds and has gone from strength to strength since; growing tenfold in confidence and ability on her way to the final four.

Fasika was as long as $16 in The Voice betting markets prior to last Sunday’s penultimate show, but has leapfrogged both Hoseah Partsch and Lucy Sugerman; the only other remaining contestants, following the semi-finals.

Hoseah is another contestant who has grown in confidence noticeably in the latter stages of the competition, but was the victim of Fasika’s impressive rise to prominence this week in The Voice betting markets and has drifted to generous $7 odds.

Hoseah is perhaps the most diverse artist remaining in the running this season and he arguably offers punters the best value for money.

Fifteen-year-old Lucy has been a model of consistency throughout this entire season of The Voice, but is now the rank outsider of the field at $10 odds.

Lucy is certainly not without a chance of being crowned The Voice winner in 2017, but the polarising nature of her voice and the strength of her competitors suggests that she is probably a fitting occupant of the fourth line.

There is a range of The Voice betting markets available to punters under the ‘Novelty’ banner at Ladbrokes.com.au.

The Voice betting markets at Ladbrokes will close just prior to the finale at 7pm AEST on Sunday evening (July 2nd).
