The youngest couple on this series of the popular reality show, Josh and Elyse have shown ability by the barrowful in the first two weeks of competition and their well-designed and executed bathroom heralded a total of 27 of 30 possible points from the judges.
Not a lot was expected of New South Wales south coasters Sticks and Wombat when they made their way onto The Block, but they have already made a big impact on the competition and were unlucky not win bathroom week; finishing half a point behind Josh and Elyse.
The popular mates’ unique style was a little too much for the judges in week 1, but they managed to work their enigmatic designs to their favour this week and have subsequently firmed onto the third line of The Block 2017 betting at $4.50 odds.
Week 1 winners Ronnie and Georgia were again right in the mix, but only managed to produce the third-best bathroom and have eased slightly on the second line to $3.60 odds to win the series.
