There is nothing more Australian than backing a host of winners and one of our punters did exactly that over the Australia Day long weekend.

This punter paid the long game over two days and in doing so he was able to turn $25 Into $10,033.75!

The action got underway on Australia Day on Friday as our punter took three horses and a greyhound across four different meetings.

He started at Kilcoy and got off to a flying start as Bullion Belle got the job done at a quote of $3.60 before the greyhound Spin That Wheel had no issues claiming victory at the short quote of $1.55.

Hanging Rock only holds the two meetings every year and our punter was desperate to take advantage of the value on offer.

He did just that when Fold cruised to a dominant victory in the fifth race and the early price of $5.50 that he snapped up added plenty of value to this multi.

The opening day of this punters multi-day, multi adventure came down to the Australia Day Cup at Warwick Farm and it is fair to say that there were a few nervous moments for our punter.

Our punter back Cordero and he was well-backed in the lead-up to the race, but he didn’t have things his own way.

At the 150 metre mark, there were six chances spread right across the track and Cordero looked in a world of trouble, but he somehow managed to fight back on the inside to make it four wins on the trot.

This patient punter had to wait another 24 hours before the final two legs of his multi and the Big Bash fan definitely took plenty of risks!

The Melbourne Stars had been poor all season long and were facing a Hobart Hurricanes side that needed to win to make the Big Bash Finals, but that did not stop our punter putting his faith in the Stars and he was rewarded in a big way.

It all came down to the final Big Bash regular season game between the Melbourne Renegades and the Brisbane Heat and it was fairly smooth sailing for our punter’s selection the Renegades.

The Renegades set the Heat a total of 188 runs and there is no doubt that our punter let-off a might cheer when Chris Lynn was dismissed cheaply!

The Heat never looked like chasing down the Renegades total and their win delivered our punter a windfall of $10,033.75 from his $25 bet!
