Harness guru Oli Cownie has run the rule over all eight races at Marburg this Sunday to help you finish the week on a high.
KIPCHOGE (3) has good gate speed and should be able to work across to the lead in the early stages. He secured a good run on the speed last time out and finished in the main bunch of horses in fifth behind dominant winner Morefuntocome. He should run well.
GOODTIME FLETCH (4) sat without cover two starts ago at this track and battled on well for second behind Our Ultimate Beaty. He may be left to do the work again in this race but does look well placed.
STORMY MIDNIGHT (6) looks to draw a touch awkward in this race inside the back row and will need things to fall his way at the right time. He hasn’t run to his best recently including last start when making a break. He has the ability to bounce back.
TUSCANS COURAGE (5) comes into this race first up from a spell and could be an improver coming off a break. He did sit without cover in his first campaign when running third behind Along The Way at this track.
SELECTIONS: KIPCHOGE (3), GOODTIME FLETCH (4), STORMY MIDNIGHT (6), TUSCANS COURAGE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: KIPCHOGE (3) to win.

| Last start was well beaten into fifth behind Morefuntocome at Redcliffe over 1780m on August 3 at $16. Raced better the start before that with a solid effort when 3rd (Fr5) over 1850m at this track, beaten 7 m by Our Ultimate Beaty (2:17.00) on July 26 at $41. Better than recent form suggests. | |||
MIGHTY CRUNCH (6) should get a good run through behind a horse likely to be keen to lead. He got back in the run last time out at this track and was forced very wide when running into second behind Miarka. He will be relying on some luck but should go close if that luck comes.
ITS A SPONGE DARL (1) has good gate speed and will likely be keen to drive through and lead in this race. He got back in the run last time out and was running on late into fifth behind Windy Hill Whiskey.
MOVE HEAVENNEARTH (3) joins the stable of Lola Weidemann in this race and has trialled up well in preparation for this first up outing. She has previously shown good ability and shouldn’t be too far away first up.
DARK AND HANDSOME (9) was left without cover last time out in a race taken out by Captain Jazz where he faded out of it late. He should find this much easier but does draw outside the back row.
SELECTIONS: MIGHTY CRUNCH (6), ITS A SPONGE DARL (1), MOVE HEAVENNEARTH (3), DARK AND HANDSOME (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MIGHTY CRUNCH (6) to win.

| Improved last start with a game effort when 2nd (Sr1) over 1850m at this track, beaten 5 m by Miarka (2:17.90) on July 6 at $1.90. Sure to play a major role. | |||
TODAYS HERO (2) has gate speed and may be able to work to the lead in the early stages of this race. His latest win came at this track when leading all the way in June of last year.
STONES (3) has good gate speed and may look to press forward in the early stages of this race. If he was able to cross and lead he would likely take some running down in a race of this nature.
BOLD PERSONALITY (8) secured a good run last time out and was held up at a crucial stage late when appearing to travel easily behind Son Of Doc. She draws poorly in this race but should run well again.
KIWI ROYALTY (1) is racing a long way off her best at the moment and was well beaten last start despite securing a good run at Redcliffe. She would need to lift to be a chance of figuring in this race but may be improved by gate 1.
SELECTIONS: TODAYS HERO (2), STONES (3), BOLD PERSONALITY (8), KIWI ROYALTY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BOLD PERSONALITY (8) to win.

| Two back was well beaten into eighth behind Rally Around at Redcliffe over 1780m on July 20 at $101. Then a handy effort when beaten by 4.5 m finishing third behind Son Of Doc at this track over 1850m on July 26 at $23. Will be right in the thick of things. | |||
ROSEANNE RUBY (1) was forced to sit without cover last time out at this track and faded out of it badly late to be beaten a big margin. She has excellent gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead this race. Having been freshened up since her last run she should be able to bounce back.
PLANET DOWNS (5) took on a much stronger race last time out when left without cover outside of Sassaba before fading out of it late. He should find this race easier and will likely look to race up on speed again in this race.
MY ULTIMATE RUDI (6) drew wide last time out at Albion Park when running on late into fourth behind Magicol Ideal. He should get a good run through in this race behind a gate speed horse and if the gaps appear he will be hard to hold out.
YOGI (4) secured a good run last time out over the 2040 at Redcliffe and wasn’t beaten far by Last Call. He should be able to secure a good run again in this race from a front row draw and should be thereabouts late.
SELECTIONS: ROSEANNE RUBY (1), PLANET DOWNS (5), MY ULTIMATE RUDI (6), YOGI (4)
SUGGESTED BET: ROSEANNE RUBY (1) to win.

| Didn’t do much last start, 9th (Sr2) over 1850m at this track beaten 75 m by Mullum Doc (2:18.40) on July 6 at $26. Before that 9th (Fr2) over 1660m at Albion Park, beaten 11 m by Burns Bay (1:59.50) in 3yo+ on June 25 at $34. Passing again. | |||
ROSIES BOY (1) has good gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead in this race. He was able to lead three starts ago at Redcliffe and was too good for Nautie Galvinator over the 2040 and that horse has since won. He should lead and be hard to run down.
ASCOT ANNIE (6) should get a good run through behind ROSIES BOY (1) in this race. She secured a good run leaders back four starts ago and was able to sprint best there to run past One Last Roll. She should get a similar run and can run well again.
ART JESTER (2) was dragged back through the field last time out by a runner which crossed and tired badly in front of him. He should get a good run from a favourable draw in this race and should be running on late.
SPLASHNDASH (4) sat without cover last time out at this track and was able to run well for fourth behind Lulu Lucifer. He may be forced to race without cover again in this race and on his best should figure in the finish again.
SELECTIONS: ROSIES BOY (1), ASCOT ANNIE (6), ART JESTER (2), SPLASHNDASH (4)
SUGGESTED BET: ROSIES BOY (1) to win.

| Capable of better than we have seen lately. Last start was driven from back in the field when 8th (Fr5) over 2040m after racing wide at Redcliffe, beaten 17 m by Lulu Lucifer (2:31.20) in 3yo+ on August 3 at $51. The run prior 7th (Fr4) over 1850m after racing wide at this track, beaten 10 m by Absolutely Stoked (2:16.00) in 3yo+ on July 26 at $7. Expecting a much better run this time. | |||
THE CASUAL GOOSE (1) scored her latest win when leading all the way at Marburg rating good time in January this year. She was racing consistently prior to a spell and returns in this race. If she is ready to go first up she should be hard to run down.
GRACENAVA (6) should get a good run through in this race behind a horse which is likely to be keen to hold a forward position in the race. She was forced to do it tough last time out and faded out of it late there.
IDEAL TIGER (7) should get a good run off the speed in this race and does appear to be closing in on a win. He was the first horse to go three wide last time out and ran well there into third behind Rosarito.
MAJOR SLIP UP (3) comes into this race first up from a spell having last raced in April. He appears to be particularly well graded in this race but may need the run first up.
SELECTIONS: THE CASUAL GOOSE (1), GRACENAVA (6), IDEAL TIGER (7), MAJOR SLIP UP (3)
SUGGESTED BET: THE CASUAL GOOSE (1) to win.

| First up. At the last run he 4th (Sr2) over 1780m at Redcliffe, beaten 7 m by Ebony Belle (2:14.50) in 3yo+ on May 31 at $3.50. Sure to be primed for a big run. | |||
ROCKIN SWEET (1) should be able to drive through and lead in the early stages of this race. He sat without cover two starts ago and faded out of it late to finish ninth. He should be hard to run down.
VINCENT TIME (6) should get a good run through in this race behind a horse which is likely to be keen to hold the lead early. He is first up in this race since early June when being shuffled back early when finishing fourth behind Tilly Layne.
MACH ASSASSIN (2) has good early speed and should be able to hold a prominent position in this race. He was a winner five starts ago when leading all the way at Redcliffe and has since had less favours in the run.
IM BOO (9) sat without cover last time out and faded late finishing last behind Alta Sensation. He should find this race easier but he does draw very awkwardly.
SELECTIONS: ROCKIN SWEET (1), VINCENT TIME (6), MACH ASSASSIN (2), IM BOO (9)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKIN SWEET (1) to win.

| Recent form below what he is capable of. Last start was driven from back in the field when 9th (Fr6) over 2280m after racing wide at Redcliffe beaten 23 m by Great Achiever (2:46.60) in 3yo+ on August 3 at $81. The run previous 9th (Sr4) over 1850m after racing wide at this track, beaten 12 m by Absolutely Stoked (2:16.00) in 3yo+ on July 26 at $16. Well drawn and expected to bounce back. | |||
DUAL CAM (6) should get a good run through behind the likely leader in the race. He led last time out and may have just been a bit outclassed there when finishing fourth to Great Achiever when appearing to have his chance. He needs a touch of luck but should run well.
LULU LUCIFER (1) should be able to drive through and lead in the early stages of this race. She led two starts ago and looked set to run out a dominant winner before the cart fell apart. She was able to bounce back nicely last time out when running over the top late to score a good win.
B MAC C (7) looks well graded in this race but does draw the back row and may need a few things to fall his way in the run. He ran a good third last time out at this track behind Dual Cam before heading for a small freshen up.
PUMPKIN PAT (4) returns from a spell in this race with just recent moderate form on paper. She wasn’t beaten too far two starts ago behind Sweet Mia in a race the winner rated 1.50.3.
SELECTIONS: DUAL CAM (6), LULU LUCIFER (1), B MAC C (7), PUMPKIN PAT (4)
SUGGESTED BET: DUAL CAM (6) to win.

| Last start 4th (Fr3) over 2280m after showing early speed at Redcliffe beaten 4.5 m by Great Achiever (2:46.60) in 3yo+ on August 3 at $18. Before that, 7th (Fr2) over 1660m at Albion Park, beaten 22 m by Uncle Tony (1:54.90) in 3yo+ on July 28 at $51. Watch for a spike in form. | |||
