Super Saturday was another massive day for punters and one punter in particular had a simply outstanding afternoon right around the country.
He included six horses in a multi and was able to turn $5 Into $12,283.28!
It was a very easy start for our punter as he backed the talented import Kings Will Dream in the second race of the afternoon at Flemington.
Kings Will Dream never looked like losing and he ran away from his rivals late to record a dominant win.
The second leg was another very easy watch for our punter.
He backed King’s Command at the juicy price of $7 and the Team Corstens-trained galloper romped away from the rest of the field to win like an even-money chance.
Our punter then turned his attention to the Canterbury Stakes in Sydney and he backed Kris Lees-trained Invincible Gem to place in the Group 1 event.
It wasn’t an easy watch for Invincible Gem and she never looked like a winning chance, but she was able to hit the line strongly in the final stages of the race to finish a narrow third.
Morphettville was the next track that our punter visited and he was able to continue on his winning ways as the well-backed Affray cruised to victory at the juicy odds of $4.80.
Our punter was now only two legs away from a massive win, but it was here that disaster almost struck.
Sugar Bella was backed as if unbeatable in the Wenona Girl at Royal Randwick, but she looked very beatable when she was still close to the tail of the field with less than 200 metres.
All hope looked lost for our punter, but Sugar Bella was able to jump out of the ground late to record a most impressive victory and keep our punter in the hunt.
It all came down to She’s So High in the final race at Flemington and Damien Oliver gave the promising filly an absolute peach to deliver our punter a Super Saturday to remember!
