The Warriors have been cruising to the playoffs for the last few weeks posting some concerning results in the absence of superstar Steph Curry. Despite that they are still scoring plenty of points, topping 100 each of their last six outings. As the second match of a back to back it would not be a surprise to see them start slowly against the cellar dwelling Phoenix Suns. With the playoffs around the corner, I like the quality still on the Warriors roster to cover the line and come away with a comfortable win against a side looking to the draft lottery.
The glitz and glamour of the big money IPL is back underway and the Royals are back after a two year absence from the competition. They received a blow to their roster before the start of the season with Steve Smith made ineligible however their side still has plenty of international and local talent on hand. Aussie Ben Laughlin’s pace bowling could be the difference in this game and I like the Royals to return to the competition with a win.
As the La Liga season winds down, one of the competition’s more inconsisten sides, Villareal, find themselves locked in a battle for a Europa League spot and three points here would be massive. Their brand of football has not been particularly exciting, but it has been effective giving up just 34 goals in 30 games so far. Bilbao are not in what you would call a rich vein of form with two wins from their last six. Back the Yellow Submarine to get by at home and keep their European ambition alive.
