One Ladbrokes punter will be toasting their success after turning a $100 multi into a nearly $12,000 return thanks to this Legendary Land. It was an eight leg multi featuring action from all over the globe in tennis and football.
Our action started with an international friendly between upcoming World Cup participants Senegal and South Korea in Austria. Senegal got up thanks to two second half goals starting this bet off on the right foot. Up next was a pair of matches from football leagues that are still running in the lead up to the World Cup.
A matchup between first and third in Kazakhstan division between Altay FK and Kyran Shymkent came through next and that match was correctly called as a draw. The second match and third leg of the multi was between Posta Rangers and Tusker FC from the Kenyan Premier League which finished 2-2. For the fourth and final football leg it was back to Kazakhstan as FC Taraz won their match against Kaspiy Aktau.
While many eyes have been on Paris for the French Open, our Legendary Lands punter had their eyes on other tennis tournaments from around Europe, starting with the ITF Hungary where they backed Czech player Vit Kopriva to win his Round of 32 match against Gabor Borsos. Leg number six backed Australian Marc Polmans in the ATP Challenger Nottingham match against American 8th Seed Michael Mmoh. Polmans won the match 6-4 6-4 leaving just two legs remaining.
Staying at Nottingham for those two legs, our punter backed Indian fifth seed Ramkumar Ramanathan and it was a nervous start as he dropped the first set to Jason Jung in a tiebreaker. Ramanathan turned the tables however and took the next two sets to win 6-7 7-5 6-4 in the end. Canadian Brayden Schnur was in the Nottingham qualifiers and dispatched Australian player Matt Reid in straight sets to seal the eighth and final leg of this legendary land.
