Atlanta Falcons vs Philadelphia Eagles
10.20am AEST

Match Winner/Total Points: Atlanta/Under 45.5 @ $3.60

The odds have swung drastically in this one following the news of Carson Wentz’s absence, and with a much improved offense, the Falcons look capable of silencing the Philly home crowd. The Eagles run defence was stout last year, but they struggled at times in the air. With new receiver Calvin Ridley lining up opposite their star receiver, the rookie should take some of the attention off Julio Jones and create plenty of big play opportunities.

Melbourne Storm vs South Sydney Rabbitohs
7.50am AEST

Storm 1-12 @ $2.88

Melbourne have won four of its last five against Souths, but more importantly, the Bunnies are 0-7 against the Storm as the away underdogs. Home field advantage is huge here for Craig Bellamy’s side, and if Cameron Smith can take care of Damien Cook, Melbourne look a safe bet in a close one.

Melbourne vs Geelong Cats
7.50pm AEST

Geelong 1-39 @ $2.55

It’s the finals freshman’s vs. the senior September specialists, and with Jesse Hogan now missing, this game may not be as close as their Round 1 encounter. That game was a long time ago, but it’s worrying for the Dees knowing Joel Selwood and Gary Ablett combined for 78-disposals. The Demons hopes rely on Christian Petracca down forward, but if Geelong can keep Max Gawn quiet in the midfield, they’ll control this game easily.
