Masterchef met the Bachelorette last night as Australia’s favourite Step Up! Hopeful Ivan showed off his skills in the kitchen with his unique avocado blend.
Meanwhile, Charlie believes he’s more of a dead-cert than Winx at the Ladbrokes Cox Plate to win the heart of Ali with his strategy of thinking everyone else has a hidden agenda and obsession with Bill.
There was also the dreaded double-date between Ivan and Bill, the lads showed off their credentials as potential Dads and blatant product placement for Red Rooster and we said farewell to Ladbrokes favourites, Ivan and Jules.
While we still don’t really have much interest for who will win this series of the Bachelorette, there’s still interest in who will win “The Jarrod”.
The Jarrod Votes
For The Bachelor, we had The Badgelor award, and for this season of The Bachelorette, we have named our award ‘The Jarrod’ in honour of everybody’s favourite pot-plant detective Jarrod Woodgate!
The winner of ‘The Jarrod’ will not be the person that wins the heart of Ali, but the person that gives the Ladbrokes Content team the best fodder to work with!
Honourable Mention – Jules
He was never going to win Ali’s heart but Jules pieces to camera and facial expressions made us all love the bloke. The mansion on both the Bachelorette and The Bachelor will forever be known as “Mancho Relaxo”. That’s his legacy and it’s a great one. Jules is a weird unit, but a good weird unit. It was a shame that Ali thought not to give him a rose at the end of the night but his exit from the show was all class.

1- Ivan
There was no shame with Ivan. What you saw was what you got. He wants to Dance, he wants to compete on Step Up and he wants five kids in five years. Ivan was the first of the Bachelor’s to bring on the waterworks when informed that he would be on the dreaded double-date. This man wore his heart on his sleeve. May he live his dream to end up on Step Up! or at least Bachelor in Paradise but ideally, Masterchef.

2- Ivan
Our hearts broke for Ivan when Ali sent him home. His parting words to Ali proved that his guilty feet have got no rhythm.

3- Ivan
Words need not describe why Ivan gets the 3,2 and 1. Let Ivan’s kitchen adventures do the talking. Channel Ten – Put him on Masterchef. #Ivan4MasterChef

“It’s the Bachelorette, not The Charlie Show. It’s Bull. Shit.” – Bill

THE BACHELORETTE BETTING UPDATE:
He’s had a quiet couple of weeks on the show but the market is still favouring Taite to win this series at $1.40.
As mentioned earlier, Charlie believes he should be at shorter odds than Winx for the Ladbrokes Cox Plate but in reality, he’s at $6. I wouldn’t put it beyond him to call the bookies and tell them that they are not doing this market FOR THE RIGHT REASONS.
Todd is at $8 and Robert is also solid value at $12.
For Ali to do a Honey Badger – you can get $21 for there to be no winner.
