Reata is a horse with an excellent first-up record and he is great value to make a winning return to the races. It has been a long time between race starts, but he has always been a horse with talent and he has trialed nicely ahead of his return. The $10 that is currently available is well and truly over the odds.
Yatta Izu has recorded two wins from three race starts and she is a mare with plenty of promise. The turn-of-foot she showed to win last start at Kilmore was particularly impressive and she is a mare that has shown tactical versatility during her career to date. The $8.50 on offer at the moment makes her a great each-way bet.
Honorable Mention returned to the races with a dominant win at Warrnambool and he didn’t have all the favours when he finished second at Cranbourne last start. He has drawn wide, but he does have tactical speed and he can cross this field to take up a forward position. He is another horse that is value at his current odds.
Top Of The Range has improved each time that he has been seen at the races this campaign and he found the line nicely at Flemington on Kennedy Oaks Day. It has been a long time between race wins, but this is probably the weakest race that he has contested in some time and he has the turn-of-foot to overcome the wide barrier draw.
