Arcadia Prince has scored two wins from his three race starts this campaign and he finds himself in another very winnable race this afternoon. 1400 metres is his pet trip and he maps to get a lovely run in transit with William Pike in the saddle. There is no reason that he can’t continue his winning ways.
Viddora ticks all the boxes in the Winterbottom Stakes. Her first-up victory in the Moir Stakes at The Valley was excellent and she had genuine excuses in The Everest. She has trialled in brilliant fashion and she showed last year that the trip to Perth isn’t an issue for her. She is clearly the horse to beat and can win this race for the second year in a row.
Illustrious Tycoon has recorded three wins from as many race starts and there is no doubt that he is a horse with plenty of ability. It has been a long time between race starts, but he has trialled well ahead of his return to the races and he has a genuine class edge over the rest of this field.
Magical Charm is another horse that heads to Ascot on the back of winning form. She is a genuine stayer and she has improved each time that she has been stepped up in trip this preparation. The way that she put away her rivals last start was impressive and she should now be at peak fitness.
