I don’t normally like to tip horses that are odds-on, but Greyworm is a horse that I have a big opinion of and I think that his short price is well and truly justified. He has recorded three wins from his four race starts to date and he went to another level when he returned to the races with an excellent win at The Valley last start. A repeat of that performance would make him very tough to beat.
Fine Dane only recorded the one race win during his maiden racing campaign, but he showed a great deal of talent. He has form around the likes of Written By, Beauty and Legend Of Condor and he was beaten by less a length in each of his defeats. He makes his own luck right on the speed and can make a winning return to the races.
Bleu Roche finished her maiden racing campaign with a tough win in the Red Roses at Flemington during the Melbourne Cup Carnival and she still has plenty of upside. She has plenty of early speed and she seems to enjoy 1000 metres. She is well-placed in this contest and will likely end up in tougher races than this one.
Crimson Tears is one of a number of horses that will be making their debuts for a new stable this weekend, but she is still well-placed to return to winning form. She has not missed the placings in her past five race starts and she was not disgraced last start at Adelaide. If she is able to maintain her current form she will be very hard to beat.
