Tamworth - Race 2 2:50pm AEDT

No. 3 Quick Nick

Quick Nick doesn’t have a great overall record, but he finds himself in a very winnable race at Tamworth this afternoon. He finished his last campaign with a win at Port Macquarie and his trial win at Wyong ahead of his return to the races was excellent. He will be able to hold the front from the inside gate and will be very tough to beat.

Tamworth - Race 4 4.10pm AEDT

No. 3 We Can’t Be Beaten

We Can’t Be Beaten did not have a great deal of luck last start at Bathurst and before that he won at Gunnedah in impressive fashion. He is a consistent horse that rarely produces a poor performance and there is no fitter galloper in this race. This is his opportunity to return to winning form.

Tamworth - Race 6 5.30pm AEDT

No. 5 Mystic Splendour

Mystic Splendour will return to the races after a lengthy spell in what looks like a very winnable race. She is a mare that makes her own luck right on the speed and Matthew McGuren should be able to control this contest from the inside barrier. She is one of the only horses in this field with upside and she can make a winning return to the races.

Tamworth - Race 7 6:10pm AEDT

No. 3 Manabar

Manabar has recorded two wins on the trot in truly dominant fashion and there is no doubt that he is racing in career best form. He has drawn a wide barrier, but he does have early speed and he shouldn’t have any trouble crossing this field to take up the running. He will be tough to run down and can make it three wins on the trot.
