2019 Dubai World Cup Tips

Meydan - Race 5 1:05am AEDT
No. 6 Divine Image

Divine Image has recorded three wins from her four race starts and she has improved each time that she has been seen at the races. She overcame plenty of turmoil to win the UAE Oaks and she absolutely bolted in to win the Al Bastakiya at her last start. A repeat of that effort would make her very tough to beat.

Meydan - Race 7 2.20am AEDT
No. 7 Almond Eye
Tip of the Day

Almond Eye has recorded six wins from seven race starts and she is one of the biggest stars in world racing. Her wins in The Shuka Sho and the Japan Cup were nothing short of outstanding and the scary thing for her rivals is that she still has the scope to improve. There is no reason that she can’t continue her winning ways.

Meydan - Race 8 3:00am AEDT
No. 6 Rey De Oro

Rey De Oro is the horse to beat in the Dubai Sheema Classic. He stamped herself as a genuine star with her win in the Tenno Sho in October last year and he was only narrowly denied by Blast Onepiece in the Arima Kinen. He goes well fresh and the 2400 metres is his pet trip. The $3.30 currently available is well and truly over the odds.

Meydan - Race 9 3:40am AEDT
No. 3 North America

North American may be a seven-year-old, but there is an argument to be made that he is racing in career best form. He absolutely bolted in by nine lengths to win the two editions of the Al Maktoum Challenge and the step-up to 2000 metres suits. He make his own luck right on the speed and he will give his rivals something to catch.
