Airlie Avenue has been very close to breaking through for a maiden win in her two runs this prep so far and she does look well placed to record her first win in this. The Zoustar filly from the Kris Lees stable will settle back in the field but look for her late.
I Am Impressed is a horse that requires the speed on up front to produce her best however he looks well over the odds in a race of this quality. His first up effort at Taree was quite good when he was beaten only 2.2 lengths and he will appreciate the step up in distance. Worth an each way play at the $34 currently available.
Bangalley Ld broke through for his maiden win in his last run last prep at Armidale and he followed that up with a dominant win first up at Kempsey. This is his first go over the 1200m however it looks ideal and he is well placed to continue on his winning way in this race.
Saint Denis was racing consistently last prep without winning and the Show A Heart gelding looks over the odds in this contest. This is a touch short of his best trip however the early money suggests he will run well fresh.
