pisa My Heart was only narrowly denied on debut at Canberra before the lightly raced mare won by a massive five length at her next start. She is clearly a mare with a lot of talent and I think she will get to a higher grade of racing than this.
Garros was very good when he ran second at Canberra over the mile. He burst through that day to just miss before stepping up to 2000m. He is much better suited to the mile in my opinion and he is very attractive odds in a race of this quality.
Killarney Kid is a very consistent hurdler and a very talanted horse in general. He is being asked to carry the top weight in this race however he will prove tough to get passed again in this race.
Thunder Cloud was nominated at Flemington yesterday in a pretty hot race but connections decided for this easier option. He was narrowly beaten in a benchmark 90 at Morphettville last start over the 2000m and I’m confident he will be fighting out the finish in a race of this quality.
