4yo & up Maiden Plate (1350m)

Explosive Truth has finished second on two occasions from five starts and heads to Wyong with two recent seconds in two Randwick barrier trials over 780m and 1050m and gets his chance to break through for his Maiden win.

Look for improvement from Kowloon Treasure following his debut third as favourite in a 1200m Canberra Maiden on August 7.

Kiss And Tell has visited the runner’s up stall on five occasions and is overdue for a win, She is coming off a last start fourth in a 1200m Kembla Grange Maiden and Dunlee is resuming but has the home track advantage.

Benchmark 64 Handicap (1600m)

Mo‘s Glory is undefeated over 1600m from three goes and heads to Wyong coming off a last start win in a 1600m Scone BenchMark 66 Handicap and is one of the main chances here.

Call Me Mo finished third two starts back in a Wyong 1600m BenchMark 70 Handicap and has the blinkers going on following his last start eighth in a 1900m Canterbury BenchMark 72 Handicap.

High Court is a last start winner in a 1600m Taree BenchMark 66 Handicap and Rules Don’t Apply is coming off a second in a 1600m Gosford Class 1.

Class 1 Handicap (1100m)

Badia has been placed twice from her last three starts and is one of the top chances here going on her last start second ion a 1200m Canterbury BenchMark 72 Handicap.

Archery Butts has been primed for his return to the track with to recent barrier trial wins at Rosehill and Warwick Farm and will have the tongue tie on for the first time.

Isalute was sent for a break following his debut win in a Newacstle Maiden in June and has barrier trialled recent for a win at Gosford followed by a second on the Beaumont Track at Newcastle and is primed for a good first up showing and Embeller has the blinkers on for th first time.

Maiden Handicap (1200m)

Windstream was well beaten at her only start in April but has trialled well recently at Warwick Farm with a third over 806m followed by a second over 795m and the betting will be the best guide.

Mashrabiya is facing the starter for the first time and is the winner of a recent 800m Hawkesbury barrier trial and has claims first up.

O’Tartan Lass has been placed at her only start in March when third in a Maiden over this course and distance and has won a recent 1000m Hawkesbury barrier trial and Not Another Reiby is getting closer to the winner’s stall with two seconds from his only two starts at Scone and Hawkesbury but has to overcome the outside gate.

3&4yo  BenchMark 64 Handicap (1300m)

The front running Skymist is chasing a hat trick following wins in a Newcastle Maiden and in a Gosford BenchMark 64 Handicap and apprentice Chris Williams’ 2kg claim will help her find the winner’s stall again.

Snippy Fox has finished fourth in a recent Warwick Farm barrier trial after wonning a 1200m Kembla Grange BenchMark 64 Handicap and also gets some weight relief from apprentice Louise Day’s 1.5kg claim.

Celandine broke through for her Maiden win two starts back at Warwick Farm an has finished fourth in a recent 799m Warwick Farm barrier trial and Regimental Band has been runner up twice in two recent barrier trials at Gosford and on the Beaumont track at Newcastle.

Mona Lisa Stakes  (F&M) (1350m)

Miss Fabulass looks the class runner here and was Group 1 placed during the 2020 Sydney Autumn Carnival when runner up in the Coolmore Classic (1500m) at Rosehill and is resuming with the tongue tie on and will be hard to beat,

Missybeel was given a break after winning the Group 3 Epona Stakes (1900m) at Rosehill on March 21 and has won a recent 1250m Hawkesbury barrier trial in preparation for her return and looks suited here.

Asiago is resuming and has won first up in the past and was the winner of the Group 3 Kembla Grange Classic (1600m) at Kembla Grange in March and Wandabaa gets her chance at Stakes level following a win and a second in two Rosehill Benchmark 88 Handicaps in August.

Wyong Gold Cup (2100m)

Raheen House was the winner of the Group 2 Chairman’s Quality (2600m) before running third in the Group 1 Sydney Cup (3200m) during the 2020 Sydney Autumn Carnival. The English import has had one run back from a spell for a fifth in the Premier’s Cup Prelude (1800m) at Randwick and looks well placed here and is one of the main chances.

The Lord Mayor can mix his form but is ready to step back up to the 2100m coming off a last start fifth in a 1600m Eagle Farm Handicap three weeks ago.

Attention Run is coming off a last start second in the Premier’s Cup Prelude (1800m) at Randwick and can figure in the mix again and Savacool was in the winner’s stall two starts back in taking out the Listed Rowley Mile (1600m) at Hawkesbury.

Race 8 - 5:10pm

BenchMark 68 Handicap (1100m)

Bombasay has consistent form with three wins and five placings from eleven starts but missed a place last time out when fifth in a 1200m Canterbury Benchmark 70 Handicap on June 10. Has won a recent 800m barrier trial on the Beaumont track at Newcastle and has drawn a nice gate.

Toro Toro has won a 1000m Scone barrier trial since finishing fifth in a Class 3 Highway on the Kensington track at Randwick and can figure in the mix.

Destiny’s Son is a last start winner in a 1200m Kembla Grange Class 1 in May and has barrier trialled twice at Randwick since for a win and a fourth and Partners is down in class but up in weight following his latest fifth in a 1200m Rosehill BenchMark 78 Handicap.
