Astro Boy Toy will appreciate the drop in weight following his latest third in a 1200m Doomben Class 3 and looks one of the main chances.
Victorian visitor See Me Exceed made a good impression with a solid win in a 1400m Gold Coast Class 4 and Tycoon Street can figure in the mix.

Right Or Wrong is dropping back in class after finishing third in a 1600m Eagle Farm Handicap, is a two times winner over this course and distance and will appreciate apprentice Sheriden Tomlinson’s 3kg claim.
Cloak is racing in outstanding form with three wins from last three starts as he works his way up through the grades and has claims again on his latest win in a 1615m Doomben BenchMark 80 Handicap.
Napoleon Solo is ready to step up to the 1600m coming off a last start fourth in a 1350m Doomben Class 6 and Ocean Addict is dropping back in distance after a fifth in a 2212m Eagle Farm BenchMark 78 Handicap.

Malahide is resuming and has a very good first up record of three wins from four attempts and has a great chance here. The five year old mare is ready for a bold first up showing with two recent barrier trials under her belt, a second over 1000m at Eagle Farm followed by a win in a 1000m Gold Coast trial.
Star Reflection hasn’t raced for over a month but has to be considered on her most recent second in a 1200m Doomben Handicap on July 29.
The Great Boombino was narrowly beaten last start in a 1110m Doomben BenchMark 72 Handicap and Epic Girl will be fitter with one run under her belt and has a good second up record.

Strike has had one run back from a spell for a fourth in an 1100m Canterbury BenchMark 72 Handicap and will have the blinkers back on.
Better Than Best is resuming and gets her chance in town coming off a win in a 1200m Ipswich Maiden in April and Spirit One has drawn the outside gate but had some handy form during her 2yo season.
