Race 1 - 12:00pm

Open Handicap (1150m)

Geegee Trendsetter is up in class and down in the weights on her last start win over this course and distance and will prove hard to beat again.

Gee Gee Double Dee chased home Geegee Trendsetter last start and will appreciate a nice drop in the weights.

Ruettiger hasn’t been that far off the pace and is coming off a fourth in a 1350m Handicap at Devonport and Aspirate will be fitter following his first up second over 1350m at Devonport a fortnight ago.

Race 2 - 12:35pm

Maiden Plate (1150m)

Gee Gee Manpower was placed at three of his last four runs before a break and is resuming. The four year old has had one trial under his belt for a third over 700m at Longford and the betting will be the best guide.

 Sparkling One is nearing her Maiden win after running home for second last start in a 1009m Maiden Plate at her second run back at Devonport two weeks ago and can go close again.

Tough Cookie is fitter for one run back from a spell and first starter Mystic Beau is one to keep under notice.

Race 3 - 1:15pm

3yo Maiden Plate (1150m)

Kohima showed plenty of pace to race with the leaders for a first up third in a 1150m Devonport Maiden and can be thereabouts again from a nice gate.

Thunberg has one placing from two starts before a break and expect a bold first up performance following his nice barrier trial win over 800m at Devonport.

Sweetsop has been placed once from three starts and first starter Well Read has been placed at two recent 800m Devonport barrier trials.

Race 4 - 1:50pm

Maiden Plate (1350m)

Vamos Raffa has performed well in much tougher races than this and gets his chance to record his Maiden win. He was first past the past in the 2020 Tasmanian Derby (2200m) in February before being disqualified for a drug irregularity and then finished fifth in the 2400m Launceston Cup.

Elite Diva produced her best run last start from four starts with a second in a 1350m Devonport Maiden and figure in the mix again.

Hero Of Romani will strip fitter for his debut fourth in an 1150m Devonport 3yo Maiden and Turk Delight has he blinkers off after his debut second in an 1150m Devonport Maiden.

Class 3 Handicap (1350m)

Magic Waler is getting closer to the winner’s stall with placings at his last two starts, his latest a second in 1350m Devonport Class 3 and facing similar opposition here.

Galway Girl is stepping up in grade following her win a 1350m Devonport Class 1 and look for another bold showing.

Gee Gee Top Tip produced her best recent run last start when third in a 1350m Devonport Class 3 finishing just ahead of Gee Gee Flash.

Maiden - Class 1 Plate (1650m)

The blinkers are coming off Hunch who has finished fourth at his last two starts, his latest in similar class and can be thereabouts again.

Dusty Joe broke through for his maiden win two starts back over 1350m at Devonport and is stepping up to the 1650m following his last start fifth in a 1350m Devonport Class 1.

Odin’s Folly was beaten a head last start when third in an 1880m Devonport Maiden/Class 1 Plate and Sheorta has been placed at her last three starts at Devonport.

Class 1 Handicap (1150m)

Vogue was a Doomben Maiden winner three starts back and is lining up for her first start in Tasmania following her latest seventh in a 1350m Doomben 3yo Handicap and the betting will be the best guide.

Valcurl is fitter for one run back from a spell and is looking to improve on his first up second in an 1150m Devonport Class 1.

Divisor carries the top weight coming off a last start third in an 1150m Devonport 0 – 64 Rating Handicap and Warr Correspondent is stepping up in grade following his win in a 1009m Devonport Maiden Plate.

BenchMark 66 Handicap (1150m)

Barbie’s Witness is chasing a hat trick after two wins at Devonport in a Class 3 and BenchMark 60 and has claims again.

Silkstone has had two runs back from a spell at Devonport for a first up second in an 1150m Class 3 followed by a win in a 0 – 64 Rating Handicap and can figure in the mix again.

Ivoryman finished on the heels of Silkstone last start and Red Letter Lady is chasing a hat trick after two wins at Devonport in an 1150m Maiden and a 1009m Class 1.

Race 9 - 4:55pm

BenchMark 64 Handicap (1880m)

Geegees Rock Opera was running on at the finish last start when third in an 1880m BenchMark 60 Handicap and look for another bold showing.

Up Wind scored back to back wins over 1350m at Devonport before running fourth in a 1650m Devonport BenchMark 66 Handicap two weeks ago and is not the worst.

Gee Gees Magic Man has been placed twice over this course and distance and is coming off a last start fifth in an 1880m Devonport BenchMak 60 Handicap while Irish Shotgun finished fourth in the same race.
