Tassie Miss can do better than her debut eleventh in an 1150m Devonport Maiden and has finished second in a recent Devonport barrier trial. The filly has the crossover noseband going band going on.
Look for improvement from Warpedo following his first run on Tassie soil when fourth in an 1150m Devonport Maiden and Bogan Bill has the blinkers going on fo the first time.

Gee Gee True Story is resuming and has won a recent Longford barrier trial. Gee Gee True Story is a four times winner over this course and distance and has won first up in the past.
Kwai has been placed at her last two starts at Devonport over 1150m but has won at Launceston in the past and has strong claims here.
Silkstone has also been racing at Devonport with a second and a win at his last two starts and has been placed on three occasions at Launceston and Geegee Trendsetter will appreciate getting back on top of the turf.

Gold Current is a last start Maiden winner over 1150m at Devonport but is yet to be tested at Launceston and Orange Roughie is also a last start Devonport Maiden winner.

Gee Gee Caughtya is resuming and has been placed in two recent barrier trials at Longford and Devonport and Our Declaration is resuming and could race well fresh.

Crocodile Rock will be having his first run trainer Scott Brunton and he has some handy form in Melbourne, including a second over 2500m in the Listed JRA Trophy at Flemington three starts back and Zatacla is resuming and has won first up in the past.

Stanfield Carius heads to Launceston for the first time coming off a fifth in a 1880m Devonport Maiden/Class 1 Plate and Tee Jay Frankie is coming a win in a 1350m Devonport Maiden Plate.
