BenchMark 72 Handicap (1050m)

Sugar Boom is resuming and raced in much harder company than this last campaign and has won a recent 1000m Doomben barrier trial by 5 lengths in preparation for her return.

Niewand is racing in outstanding fashion with wins at his last three starts and has to be included among the chances following his last start win in a 900m Class 4 at the Cols Coast.

Killerman’s Run has been placed twice from his last three starts, his latest a second in a 1000m Sunshine Coast BenchMark 75 Handicap and Mort Doyle has won his last three starts, including his latest over this course and distance.

3yo Quality Handicap (1350m)

Mass Destruction has two wins and a second from his last three starts and is the one to beat again. His latest effort was a win in a 1400m Eagle Farm 3yo Handicap.

Poupee has earned another chance in town with a last start win in a 1400m Sunshine Coast 3yo BenchMark 60 Handicap and can be thereabouts.

Clearance Sale is chasing a hat trick after winning his Maiden over 1300m at Eagle Farm two starts back followed by a win in a 1400m Sunshine Coast Class 1 and Dzsenifer is having her first start back since winning a 1400m Gold Coast 2yo Plate in May.

Class 3 Handicap (1350m)

Mantelli was placed twice at Eagle Farm before breaking through for a win in a 1300m Gold Coast BenchMark 72 Handicap and has strong claims again.

Lubuk has been runner up at his last two starts at Eagle Farm and the Gold Coast and can figure in the mix again.

Toomai was a winner two starts back in a 1400m Gold Coast BenchMark 65 Handicap before finishing third in a 1400m Eagle Farm BenchMark 68 Handicap and Kista heads back to the city on the back of a win in a 1350m Ipswich 0 – 60 Rating Handicap.

BenchMark 80 Handicap (2200m)

He Runs Away was rewarded for his consistency with a win in a 2400m Eagle Farm BenchMark 78 Handicap and looks well suited again.

Kimpembe is racing in poutstanding form with wins from his last three starts and has claims again on his latest win in an 1850m Toowoomba Class 3.

Fastnet Cyclone scored back to back wins at Eagle Farm and the Gold Coast and is up in weight following his last start third in the 2200m Listed Queensland Cup at Doomben last Saturday and Fields Of Yulong gets his chance to turn the tables on He Runs Away after finishing second to him in a 2400m Eagle Farm BenchMark 78 Handicap.

F&M Class 6 Handicap (1200m)

Oh Five Glory hasn’t been far off the mark of late with a win and two placings from her last four starts, her latest effort a second in a 1050m Doomben Class 3 Plate and has claims here.

Clockwise was beaten a nose two starts back over this course and distance before finishing sixth in a 1200m Toowoomba Class 6 on Weetwood Handicap day and gets her chance to figure in the prizemoney.

Molly’s Rocking is stepping up to city Saturday class following her last start win in a Toowoomba BenchMark 72 Handicap and Air Spirit gets her chance in town following her last start win in a 1000m Sunshine Coast BenchMark 65 Handicap.

BenchMark 75 Handicap (1600m)

Seeingisbelieving has been around the money of late with a win two starts back in a 1600m Eagle Farm BenchMark 78 Handicap followed by a fourth in an 1800m Eagle Farm BenchMark 80 Handicap and will get the run of the race from the inside gate.

Canapes has won two of his last three starts, his latest in a BenchMark 78 Handicap over this course and distance and has claims again.

Hard to fault Prospectus’ form of two wins and two seconds from his last four starts and is coming off a win in a 1600m Eagle Farm Class 3 but has to overcome a wide gate this week and Stoked is on a roll with wins at her last three starts and gets her chance in town coming off a win a 1600m Sunshine Coast Class 4 last Friday.

Open Handicap (1600m)

Glenall is facing a huge drop in grade coming off a thirteenth in the Group 1 Epsom Handicap (1600m) at Randwick last Saturday and looks better placed here.

Kaonic has had a freshen up since finishing eighth in the 2000m Towoomba Cup three weeks ago and look for a better showing.

Top Prospect isn’t far away from the winner’s stall with seconds at his last two starts at Doomben and Lismore and Plitvice has a slight drop in the weights coming off a second in a 1625m Toowoomba BenchMark 85.

NMW Handicap (1350m)

Royal Hale found one too good last start when second in a 1200m Eagle Farm NMW Handicap and gets his chance to go one better this week.

Natural force was a winner two starts back in a 1400m Sunshine Coast BenchMark 70 Handicap followed by a second in a 1350m Ipswich Class 5 and gets his chance in the city.

Starvirgo gets his chance to make amends after finishing fourth as favourite in a 1200m Eagle Farm NMW Handicap and Fabulonh gets his chance in the city following a win in a 1400m Sunshine Coast Handicap.

C,G, & E Class 6 Handicap (1200m)

Fasano has a win and two placings from his last three starts and is coming off a second in 1300m Toowoomba BenchMark 80 Handicap and is a winner over this course and distance.

Stuttering also has solid form this course and distance with two wins and he has had a freshen up since a fourth as favourite in a 1600m Eagle Farm Class 6 on August 1.

Plenty is never far off the money and heads to Doomben off a last start fourth in a 1200m Eagle Farm BenchMark 85 back in July and Metson has claims on his last start win in a 1200m Eagle Farm NMW Handicap two weeks ago.
