2017 – Gale of a Time
Playing gfor the Rangpur Riders in the Bangladesh Premier League final in Dhaka, Chris Gayle broke his own record of the most sixes in a T20 innings, hitting 18 in a title clinching innings of 145 not out.
Four bolwers from the Dhaka Dynamates went for more than ten runs per over in the 57 run defeat.
1988 – Unwanted Record
In the NBA, Miami Heat set the record for the most consecutive defeats at the start of the season with 17 after a 104-94 loss to Utah,
The record would be equalled a decade later when the LA Clippers opened the 1998-99 season with 17 straight losses.
