Caulfield - Race 4 2:15pm AEST

No. 4. Athelric

This is a very open edition of the Caulfield Guineas Prelude and Athelric is the value runner.

He started his campaign with a credible third place finish in the McKenzie Stakes and he was a touch unlucky behind Mynumerouno at The Valley last start.

The Exceed And Excel colt is a better horse than his record suggests and this is his chance to return to winning form.

Randwick - Race 4 1:25pm AEST

No. 5. High Supremacy

High Supremacy is great value to make a winning return to the races.

He has only recorded the one race win, but he has generally raced in stronger company than this and he has performed well over 1400 metres.

The Savabeel gelding has trialed nicely ahead of his return to the races and can roll forward from barrier ten with Nash Rawiller in the saddle.

Randwick - Race 7 3:15pm AEST

No. 9 Hungry Heart

Verry Elleegant is a deserving favourite in George Main Stakes betting, but it is her stablemate Hungry Heart that is the value runner in this field.

She showed her quality with her wins in the Vinery Stud Stakes and Australian Oaks, while she had no luck in running first-up in the Winx Stakes.

The four-year-old might be the only horse in this field with the upside to beat Verry Elleegant.

Randwick - Race 9 4:35pm AEST

No. 4 Spirit Ridge

Spirit Ridge is well-placed to return to winning form in the Kingston Town Stakes.

He returned to the races with a tough second place finish in the Premier’s Cup and he should take good improvement from that performance.

The wide barrier draw means that Josh Parr will have to roll forward, but that could end up being an advantage.
