Ladbrokes Friday Night Lights is back for another week and we are set for a fascinating meeting at The Valley on Friday.
There are a number of short-priced favourites on this card and it could be a case of feast or famine for punters.

This is a very tricky way to start the night for punters as a number of horses in this field will be making their racing decisions.
There are simply too many unknowns to bet into this race with any confidence and I am happy top stay out from a betting perspective.
No Bet
Award Me is deserving of her status as a short-priced favourite.
She finished a good second behind Forged at Ladbrokes Park Sandown on debut and the form coming out of that race has been strong.
The Shamus Award filly has early speed and Jamie Kah will be able to settle her right on the bunny from barrier one.
She is the best bet of the night.
5 Units Award Me
Agnelli has been racing well without winning this campaign and he gets his chance to breakthrough for another race win in this contest.
He has improved each time that he has been seen at the races this preparation and he lost no admirers with his second place finish behind Gentleman Roy at The Valley last start.
There is no horse of that quality in this field and Agnelli will have every possible chance from barrier three with Brett Prebble in the saddle.
3 Units Agnelli
This is one of the most open races of the night and you can make a case for just about every horse in this field.
Francine has recorded two wins on the trot and she has found another winnable contest.
There doesn’t look to be a huge amount of speed in this race and Laura Lafferty should be able to find the front fairly comfortably in the early stages of this contest.
1 Unit Francine
It is no surprise that Direct has opened as a $1.30 favourite with Ladbrokes.
He ran well at black-type level during the Spring Racing Carnival and he finished his campaign with a second place finish behind Profiteer at Flemington on Melbourne Cup Day.
That is serious form for a race of this quality.
He has speed to burn, there aren’t many horses with the speed to lead Profiteer, and it will be interesting to see what sort of time he can produce at The Valley on Friday night.
No Bet
It is a night of short-priced favourites at The Valley and Snapped is another horse that should get the job done.
She made her racing debut with a dominant win at Pakenham and she simply never gave her rivals a chance.
On exposed form she has a clear class edge over the rest of this field and her racing pattern is perfect for The Valley.
Damien Thornton can take her straight to the front and she will prove very tough to run down.
5 Units Snapped
Mars Mission has opened as a clear favourite, but I can’t get him as short as his current quote with Ladbrokes.
The horse that does represent some value is the Peter Moody-trained He’s The Ultimate.
He’s The Ultimate has always been a horse with plenty of upside and he looks to have gone to another level this campaign.
There was plenty to like about his last start win at Pakenham and he maps to get a lovely run in transit with Jamie Kah in the saddle.
2 Units He’s The Ultimate
This is clearly the most open leg of the quaddie and there are plenty of winning chances.
There doesn’t look to be a huge amount of tempo in this contest and Delightful Journey is the likely leader.
His last start effort at The Valley was better than it looks on paper and he should take good improvement from that performance.
