The Meadows - Race 1 5:49pm AEDT
No. 7 Shoot The Breeze

The was a lot to like about the debut performance of Shoot The Breeze and the son of Feral Franky will have taken plenty of benefit from the experience.

Starting over the 425m at Bendigo he jumped away fairly off the wide box but chased hard to made up good ground late and finish second.

He’ll again start off box seven and the extra 100m here looks ideal.

The Meadows - Race 5 7:10pm AEDT
No. 3 Aston Kopeck

Aston Kopeck showed good natural talent and plenty of heart to score an all-the-way on debut over this track and trip but just had no luck at all last time.

The Aston Rupee youngster found trouble on numerous occasions and as a result was never in the hunt.

If he can jump away clean this time, I think he’ll prove hard to beat.

The Gardens - Race 6 7:33pm AEDT
No. 7 Aston Shekel

Aston Shekel has made it two wins from two starts and looks well placed to remain unbeaten.

He fought strongly to score by a length on debut over this course and distance and last start, he was in a race of his own as he flew out of the boxes to put up a handy lead and cruise away to score by over eight lengths.

Possessing good early speed the highly talented youngster should have no trouble crossing from the wide box and I think he’ll prove too nippy for them.

The Gardens - Race 11 9:18pm AEDT
No. 1 Gaping Margin

Gaping Margin is in red hot form and looks well placed to make it four straight wins.

With the rails draw she proved too good over 515m at Sandown two runs back, leading all the way, and was equally as good last time, finishing off strongly to score comfortably over the 450m at Warrnambool.

She has won here previously and with the inside box, looks hard to beat once again.
