Orange - Race 1 12:50pm AEDT
No. 4 Bushwalker

Bushwalker may not find a better race to finally shed her maiden tag than this.

Alison Smith’s mare has gone to another level since changing stables, finding the money in both runs back here at Orange and Dubbo. She’s drawn to receive every chance from the soft gate and has a fitness edge over a few key rivals.

Orange - Race 4 2:35pm AEDT
No. 3 Champions League

Champions League continues to hold his form nicely deep into his prep.

The six-year-old son of Savabeel has returned a place in four of his last five starts and can be forgiven on his latest effort on a soft track at Queanbeyan from a wide gate.

Back to 1400m on a dry track, we should see a much-improved performance.

Orange - Race 5 3:15pm AEDT
No. 7 Stallone

Stallone should find this step back to country level more than suitable in his first start for Bjorn Baker.

The former Annabel Neasham-trained runner spent time racing at the midweeks in Sydney earlier in the year, notably running fifth on debut at Kembla Grange in May.

By Extreme Choice, his two recent trials leading in read well for this in what is also his first start as a gelding.

Orange - Race 6 3:55pm AEDT
No. 5 Scorpius
Each Way

Scorpius just needs luck from the wide gate to be a serious chance second-up.

The old boy by Deep Field has competed at Listed level before and is a much better horse than his recent effort at Dubbo first-up suggests.

He’s done some of his best racing at this stage of his prep and gets in well with the claim. Happy to go each-way.
