Mornington - Race 2 2:10pm AEDT

No. 5 Time Lapse

Time Lapse is second up and primed to break his maiden.

The I Am Invincible gelding showed ability at the trials prior to debuting and worked home well to finish third, beaten just over a length at Caulfield Heath.

With natural improvement and dropping into what looks an easier race, he’ll take beating at Mornington in the second.

Mornington - Race 4 3:20pm AEDT

No. 5 Chicago King

Chicago King steps out today in a very winnable race.

The Street Boss gelding is a four-start maiden, but he’s missed the placings just once and turned in an improved effort to only just miss second up at Cranbourne.

He’ll only improve further today, and he looks ready to win.

Mornington - Race 5 3:50pm AEDT

No. 4 Azeezle

Azeezle is another galloper that looks well placed to strike today at Mornington.

Azeezle returned to action with a fine performance to win a 0-62 here last month before finishing midfield, beaten only two lengths at Caulfield Heath.

1000m certainly looks to be his go, and this looks to be a weaker race than the last one he contested.

Mornington - Race 6 4:25pm AEDT

No. 5 Etoile Filante

This is easily the best race on the program, but I was really taken by Etoile Filante’s last start effort, and I think he can make it two in a row.

Etoile Filante has improved noticeably with each of four starts since debuting, culminating in a dominant display in maiden company last time out.

This is harder, but the manner of that last performance suggested it’s also well within his abilities.
