We head back out to Sydney’s west on Wednesday when six races are run and won at Warwick Farm.
The rail will be set out three metres around the entire course and a generally fine week in the greater Sydney metropolitan region has seen the Warwick Farm track rated in the Good (4) range at publish.

Just five horses remain in contention after scratchings and Idle Flyer looms as the one to beat.
Idle Flyer returned to action with a fine performance to finish second, beaten a length by Massira down at Kembla Grange before winning in BM64 company at Randwick-Kensington last time.
Fitter third-up, something like this is the next logical target.

There’s a case to be made for nearly every horse in this race but I thought it looked a nice campaign launchpad for Spaceballs.
Spaceballs hasn’t been seen at the races since September, but she was unlucky not to break her maiden at her second start when a half-length behind Pinito at Hawkesbury.
She’s trialled well ahead of her return, while a low draw and the booking of Tim Clark are both ticks.

Winchester worked home well at his first run back from a break and will take plenty of improvement into this contest.
The Team Hawkes-trained ended his last prep fifth in the Group 3 Vain Stakes, while he was good behind Polyglot at Rosehill when resuming this time.
He strips fitter, this is undoubtedly a weaker race, and he can continue his rise through the grades.

Emilia Jane resumes in an open but winnable race this week.
The Joe Pride-trained filly made just two appearances at the races last time in, breaking her maiden at Newcastle most recently, while she’s turned in some lovely trial performances ahead of her return.
She’ll have to settle off the pace from the wide barrier but with a clear crack at them late, she certainly has the ability and the turn of speed to win something of this quality.

O’ziggy looms as another winning chance for the in-form Bjorn Baker yard in Sydney this week.
O’ziggy has been steadily improving this time in in, culminating in consecutive placings at Canterbury and Rosehill, the latter behind the impressive Our Anchorage at Rosehill just last weekend.
I love that he’s on the quick back up, back to the midweeks and he has options in running from the rails draw.

Another resuming galloper with winning claims at Warwick Farm on Wednesday is It’s A Knockout in the last.
It’s A Knockout recorded two wins from just three starts during her debut prep, finishing second on the other occasion and finding form around some classy individuals.
She’s had the benefit of a couple of trials ahead of her return and it’s a nice kick off point.
