Scone - Race 3 1:55pm AEDT
No. 4 Hell Of A Lad

Hell Of A Lad just needs luck to go his way from the wide barrier to be a factor today at Scone.

The Kris Lees-trained son of Hellbent looks ready to peak third-up after running a place when resuming at Muswellbrook, before weakening out wide over 1300m last start at Taree.

He does have a tendency to overrace, but if Aaron Bullock can get him to settle in the run, he’ll be every chance on dry ground.

Scone - Race 4 2:30pm AEDT
No. 2 Great Point

Great Point looks suited racing over the track and distance again for Rodney Northam.

This lightly-raced mare by Bull Point gave a good sight when runner-up here a few weeks ago, stepping out off a three-week break where she went down only narrowly in a good go for the line.

She gets in well with the 3kg claim this time and has drawn perfectly in barrier 2 for a repeat effort.

Scone - Race 6 3:50pm AEDT
No. 4 Sir Remlap

Sir Remlap continues to race well deep into his prep.

The lightly raced Rubick four-year-old has his sights set on a hat trick now after bolting in at Randwick last start thanks to a superb ride from Mitch Stapleford.

The pair combine again here with a 1.5kg claim and figure to be prominent in the finish if they get the right run off the speed in the late stages.

Scone - Race 7 4:30pm AEDT
No. 1 Saratoga Power

Saratoga Power resumes for Brett Cavanough on the back of a recent trial here at Scone.

The four-year-old Written Tycoon gelding might be in need of the run, but the 1000m trip should be right in his wheelhouse after capping off his maiden prep beaten 1.7 lengths at Randwick last year.

A dry track suits and from the low gate, we should see him land in behind the speed nice and early.
