BEST BET

JOHN PARRY

The Magical Kenya Open is a wide-open affair this year and shooting a little wide with journeyman Brit John Parry.

Parry has been hitting his irons well, ranking fifth in Strokes Gained: Tee To Green and seventh in Strokes Gained: Approach.

He finished 20th in the 2024 Andalucia Masters, a solid guide for here.

He has done a lot of winning of late, claiming three titles since June including the Mauritius Open last December.

A very strong chance in this field.

BEST VALUE

ADRIAN OTAEGUI

Adrian Otaegui has ditched Spain and now represents the UAE and will be keen to put a win on the board under his new flag.

He has five wins on the DP World Tour including a win in the 2022 Andalucia Masters.

Ranks 13th in Driving Accuracy.

Finished T-4 last season here.

MARTIN COUVRA

Young Frenchman Martin Couvra has been ascendant since winning his way onto the DP World Tour.

In his five starts he has three Top 7 finishes including T-4 and T-5 at his two starts in February.

Ranks eighth in Strokes Gained: Approach and 12th in Strokes Gained: Tee To Green.

BEST ROUGHIES

ANDREAS HALVORSEN

Norwegian longshot who is a long way from hopeless this week.

He is another who has been playing well since getting promoted from the Challenge Tour.

Finished T-5 at Mauritius and that is the best comp for here that he has played on.

Ranks ninth in Scrambling and 15th in Strokes Gained: Approach.

JAMES MORRISON

Veteran Englishman who has not won in a while but can Top 20 here.

Finished T-22 at his most recent DP World Tour start, the Mauritius Open.

Ranks second in Driving Accuracy and 14th in Scrambling.

Also finished Top 20 at the 2023 BMW PGA Championship.

TOP AUSTRALASIAN

KAZUMA KOBORI

Stunned that Kiwi Kobori is not deep odds-on in this four-man field.

He ranks ninth in Driving Accuracy.

TOP CHINESE

HAOTONG LI

Li won the Qatar Masters last start and he is a golfer that tends to hold form.

Finished Top 24 in three straight.
