After recording consecutive victories in BM84 company ay Sandown and here at Flemington, DUCHESS ZOU kept her best work for late again when filling the minors behind Stylish last time out.
In peak order this afternoon, she meets that horse and others far better at the weights and is drawn to receive the run of the race.

It has been a short while since POLYGLOT won a race, but after being held up for a run at a key moment when resuming at Randwick last month, he let down with a fine turn of foot to hit the line stylishly.
He’s yet to miss placing in four previous second up attempts, and with the benefit of that first hit out under his belt, he’ll take plenty of beating in something like this.

| Second-up. First-up after three months 7th of 13 at Randwick Bm78 on June 20 over 1000m, on a slow track; 1.75 len behind Ice Kool carrying 58kg at $21. LUDLUM stamped himself as one to follow during a brief but strong debut campaign last spring, while he returned to action with undoubtedly his strongest performance so far to win in Class 1 company at Seymour.
While he does face a rise in class into this, he’s kept up to the mark with a strong trial and should be able to find some cover from the central alley.
