See below for our expert Sunday daily racing tips for March 9th including Tamworth best bets!
New Pharoah is second up and ready to win today at Tamworth.
The American Pharoah gelding has placed in three of six starts since debuting and returned to action after nearly a year off to finish on the placegetters’ heels at Scone.
He’s been kept up to the mark with a trial since that race and is drawn to receive a lovely run this afternoon.
Cossack Warrior takes winning form and improvement into Race 4 at Tamworth today.
The Russian Revolution gelding went for a break after a dominant nine-length win in maiden company back in December, and he picked up where he left off by winning here in BM58 company.
He strips fitter for it and is my best bet on the program.
Big drop in class for Ballinderry Sal today and I think that it can see a return to winning form.
Ballinderry Sal was fair through the line at Scone in her first run back form a break, and far from disgraced behind Kaihoko at Canterbury last time out.
Fitter third-up and further out in trip today, this looks beautiful placement from Rod Northam.
Know Thyself is the one for me in this afternoon’s Country Championships Qualifier at Tamworth.
Know Thyself hasn’t been seen at the races since July, but he turned in some excellent performances last time in, dominating a Highway race at Rosehill before finishing a length third in the Group 3 Winx Guineas on the Sunshine Coast.
He’s had the benefit of a trial ahead of today’s return and he’s a horse that tends to fly fresh.
